I am type 1 so mine is a bit different to yours but I suggest you start with lowering your carbs. stick to whole grains and steer clear from white bread and obviously sugar. exercise is key for me. I need much less insulin when I do something physical. Hope I have been some help to you.
Avatar f tn Maybe if u have a light salad wrap which you make earlier in the day might be good. Light foods often make you feel better, so even if they are just small. Or if that takes too long, have some fruit or nuts (almonds like the other post said ;) ) ... or wholegrain for some energy. complex carbohydrates will keep your energy levels longer. I find rice cakes are a quick choice too.

IMO she needs to be on a canned food that has fewer carbohydrates(grains). the 3 listed first have NO grains, the others are high quality foods that may contain grains but are far less than what you can otherwise buy. I can give you a few suggestions, try one of these and see if the problem corrects itself...whew.
