Due to stomach problems, I have decided to try a Specific Carbohydrate Diet. Has anyone experienced relief on this diet?
So basically, this is what I got from it- fresh vegtables, fresh fruits, lean meats, most nuts, NO LACTOSE, NO SUGAR (except in fruits and honey), and NO STARCHES.
Is this about right? Also, what is the policy on yogurt and coconut milk?
My doctor called and told me an irregular cystic structure was found on my left ovary along with a cyst. Could this be an ectopic pregnancy? I have had all the signs of being pregnant. This is frustrating because no one seems to be telling me anything.
I have been formally diagnosed with Fibromyalgia and possible Carbohydrate Intolerance. My issue is when I eat a load of carbs, it hits up to 3 days later and I can't hardly get out of bed and am weak most of the day. Everything I read about Carb Intolerance says that fatigue usually hits within the first few hours. Has anyone else experienced this? Carb crash, a day or days after the carbs are eaten?

I am a new member and seem to be having the same issue. I am uninsured and unemployed and having continually progressing pain issues with my joints to the point my bone structure is becoming altered and small appendages like my toes and fingers cramp and curl.
Hi, I had a mammogram Aug 27th which that the small node I have had for years has grown. Two days later I had an ultrasound that shows a hypoechoic structure deep within the chest wall and has a hyperechoic notch to it with an appeappearance of a benign lymph node but does not correlate with the position of the mammogram. Given the findings of this ultrasound and enlargemnt of the density on the mammogram biopsy is recommended. My question is would you take it out completely?
t know very much about the molecular structure. I find it a bit hard to understand, but I get pieces of it.

Sometimes a thoracic echo does not provide a very good view of the heart that is critical for an assessment of the structure in question, etc. A TEE will provide a different view of the structure that is helpful and may be the proper procedure to go forward with any intervention.

In Dec '06 I had a mammo and ultrasound for left breast issue. Subsequent mammo and mri conducted on both breasts in May of 07. Recommended follow-up mammo in six months. No significant issues however could not confirm a diagnosis for left nipple bleeding.
Had mammo done on Monday of this week and secondary mammo done yesterday. Kicker is it's for the right breast. Preliminary results show no calcification but a 8mmx5mm solid structure found 12mm at 6 o'clock under the areola.
Also, my insurance does not cover the inlay and does cover the crown. Is the crown a more proven treatment? And finally, are there some other specific questions I should ask my dentist in order to make the best decision?

Your blood glucose increase is most likely caused by what you ate. 5 pieces of bread is a lot of carbohydrate. Additionally some vegetables (carrots included) have a high carbohydrate content.
