Avatar m tn My guess is your blood sugar cycling up and down. Unless you take blood sugar measurements throughout the day, you will not know it, as one reading only does not tell the whole story. Have you noticed any pattern with what you eat and dizzy spells? For example, if you eat protein+fat breakfast (eggs, cheese, bacon, etc) versus a carb rich one (low fat muffin), you would likely feel better with protein+fat and otherwise dizzy with carb rich meal (which causes blood sugar cycling).

Maybe a consult from your doctor to see an anesthesiologist in a pain management clinic can help. They can perform an epidural injection with local anesthetic and corticosteroids(Anti-inflamation med) that can relive the pain for a while. however it does not fix the bulge. Because your back and abs are your CORE.....

I shall certainly go for a Hba 1c test as advised by you. I did eat very high carb and sugars meal before going in for the test. I will have to restrict my carb intake. And desserts should be a 'no' 'no'. !! I am a non veg and have fish, eggs and chicken occasionally.

Avatar m tn I do 15 Mins of treadmill (avg 10 speed), 10mins of cycling followed by 5 mins of skipping (rope jumping) everyday. After that I do 1hr of weight training (single body pary) 5 days a week. Would this schedule help me lose weight. P.S I do follow a diet, but mostly I tend to binge eat once or twice a week max.

According to what I have researched, my BMR is 2485 and I eat about 1800 calories a day, so I should be losing weight just being me. Add in the approximate 2000 calories I burn with my exercise and I should be melting into a puddle! We do a lot of weights, pilates, abs, pushups, strength bands and squats at my aerobics class so I know my body is changing. Does anyone know what I am doing wrong?

The best things to eat was meat and veggies salads and morning eggs and bacon.

If you know where mead falls in terms of alcohol content, this information should help you figure out what's safe, but the best guideline to remember is that men with diabetes should have no more than 2 drinks a day (that's considered moderate drinking) and you should always check your BG after drinking for about a day, to make sure you don't have a low blood glucose event. Avatar f tn During those 2 weeks I had to eat a certain diet which consisted of 3 carbs for breakfast, 1 carb for an A.M snack, 4 carbs for lunch, 1 carb for P.M snack, 4 carbs for dinner and 2 carbs for evening snack...of course i also had to eat proteins and veggies as well included with the carbs..... It was actually alot of food too eat and didn't get everything in everyday. I also had to test my blood 4 times a day and check my keytones, which is the peeing on a stick thing.
Avatar n tn I eat under 50gr of carbs a day. Reasonable or not depends on who you ask. We do know carbs are what your body turns to Blood Glucose (BG). Dont confuse the carb with the stuff its mixed with, vitamins, minerals. All those are available in other foods without the carbs.

You don't have to eat bacon and pork rinds and it doesn't have to be unhealthy if you do it right. Most people don't do it right. They don't eat any carbs and then pig out on high fat protein. You can't go on and off as you please. Your body works differently on it and has a hard time switching back and forth.
