(Atacand is belongs to the group of ARB). My GP agreed that. My GP also said many and most of the diabetes patient also on that. Atacand is for the prevention of kidney failure. I just wish to know is that true? Are you all diabetes sufferers on ARB or Atacand? What is your doctor said?

Benicar keeps blood vessels from narrowing, which lowers blood pressure and improves blood flow. Benicar HCT has a diuretic included as well. I have been fortunate, Benicar has worked from the first day I took it and works well still today. My 90 day average BP is 108/67 down from 135/85 when I started. I have had no side effects as well, the best of both worlds!

I get that dry cough too. I don't take an ACE inhibitor though, I don't think. Just Lopressor, Dyazide/Maxzide, Lipitor and aspirin for the heart issues. Personally, I take valsartan, but my friends have experienced similar success (or better) with candesartan, telmisartan, losartan (although this drug is surmountable and thus theoretically not the best one to take), irbesartan, and, for ACE inhibitors, perindopril.

I did fabulous during the stress test, and I felt very good during and after it. Quite innocently and accidently, the results showed what was called a "mild dilation of the ascending aorta." I then had my first ct scan, with contrast, a few weeks later. The results read "mild aneurysmal dilation of root of the aorta measuring 4.3 cm by 3.9 cm. I met with the cardiologist a week later and he did not think I had anything to worry about.

If you do that this is a systemic process that affects most of the aorta and you need to make sure follow up is continued and that medical management is appropriate and maximal as mentioned in the post above.

I read online that your cervix is very sensitive during pregnancy and its possible my bf irritated, or (to be blunt) went too deep and made me bleed. If you do get pregnant you need to test immeidately and probably increase meds about 20%. Testing during pregnancy is montly, and meds may need to be increased quite a bit.

I forgot to say that my best friend was 3 weeks ahead of me in her pregnancy- she posted the moment she knew around 4 weeks. At 9 weeks she found out there was no heart beat, and had to have a D & C. She was devastated, and even now people post on fb 'how's the pregnancy going?' cuz they dot know she lost the baby... I don't want to have to explain 100x that I lost it if it happens...
