Coping with a new diagnosis and new medications is very challenging. Your father is very luck to have you helping him. Drugs like Enalapril and Candesartan, while often thought of as medications for treating high blood pressure, also have a proven role in the treatment of congestive heart failure. If your father is feeling unwell, and you think it is related to the medications, you should have him seen by his doctor.

Sorry I dont know what ANY of those drugs are or what sgpt is. I could google each of them read the side effects and answer you....

Hi there, Thank you for writing to us here, though I am sorry that you are struggling with side effects from the result of breast cancer medication. I am also a breast cancer survivor, however as I am triple negative, the hormonal drugs are not effective for me so unfortunately I cant speak from experience. However, that doesn't mean that I cant find out some interesting information for you in relation to libido and Arimidex.

My husband developed squamous cell carcinoma 5 years ago. After 8 weeks of intensive radiation treatments, along with chemo, his behavior also changed. He doesn't remember things!! He also lost the use of his arms, his shoulder fell out of it's socket, he can not speak and can only eat thru a feeding tube. In the summer of 2009, after two years on home hospice, his tumors disappeared!!

I just googled Avastin side effects are there are many sites that have lots of info on there. Also, you could google the manufacturer or ask your oncology center for some fact sheets.... Just a thought.

I had a dosage of 125 mCi, 10 days ago, and a thyroidectomy due to papillary thyroid cancer with tall cells. I was also diagnosed with Breast cancer 3 years ago, and had a double mastectomy with reconstructive surgery and I'm doing fine from that but this thyroid cancer has really thrown me because of the Hashimoto's and the depressed hypo state I'm in I'm finder this cancer harder to cope with. And P.S. .....

Cancer removed May 22, 2007, chemo July 2nd through October 8, 2007, and radiation on left breast November 2nd through December 26, 2008. Side effect from Taxol perminent numb toes, side effects so far from Tamoxifen body temperature changes of warmth then cold. The web page sites and telephone numbers did not have this information.

Are there any known side effects for Shen Calmer and Liver Happy Capsules? My dog has been taking them for about a week now. He is taking them for anxiety, no signs of relief yet, but no prescriptions have helped him so this is our last resort. The second day he vomited and the vet said she hadn't ever seen that so we have kept going.

I recently had a cyst removed about the size of a grape from my left ovary, however when we went into surgery my dr found one the size of my uterus behind my uterus attached to my right ovary. As a result due to shape n size n history my dr removed my rt ovary. I cannot go on birth control since I've had breast cancer 2 yrs before. I'm currently 37. & feel the effects of hot flashes. I am on week one treating type A and feeling really bad side effects. I feel almost ready to do something drastic. Prednisone is a very, very powerful drug, so good and bad side effects. It shuts down your own adrenal system at anything over 5-7 mg a day I believe it is, so a whole bunch of psychiatric side effects are possible. Myself I was revved up, lots of energy, very out of it though and then horrible anxiety when they tried to taper me off - really painful. So welcome to the loonie club and we can all support each other....

Treatment started with 75mg Effexor and I got good result quickly. But the side effects started to mount up, I felt lazy, gained weight and lost interest in activities and sex. We cut back to 37.5 mg, things improved a little, but I want to feel more active again. it has been 18 months. Do I dare request to taper off? Is ther eeven a smaller dose? Would an different drug be an option. I think I am dealing with the flash back issue, but then again I am on Effexor!

I have bronchial asthma and every blood pressure medicine I have taken causes a constant cough and wheezing. Are there any medications I can take that doesn't cause these side effects? I have tried ToProl, Lisinipril, Tekturna, and now am on Verapamil Extended Release.

Thank goodness depression is not one of the side effects I have. The only time I have ever taken Benadryl was in the hospital prior to blood transfusions.
