Avatar f tn I take a half of 37.2 phentermine and .150 synthroid can that throw my TSH out of wack. Are you suppose to take these two together. What can it cause if anything?
Avatar n tn com you can put in meds and it can tell you potential side effects etc. But honestly you can always call your doc anytime and they can tell you too. I used to take Phentermine and Zoloft together and it was fine but every med is different.
1090984 tn?1463769850 The most important thing right now is to get you out of that depression so you can live your life, and then you can work on losing the weight. Phentermine will not help you lose weight, the old Phentermine did but is was a very nasty and dangerous drug. The FDA withdrew Phentermine and removed the dangerous ingredient which is what made you lose weight...and the new Phentermine does nothing.
Avatar f tn The phentermine may help control your cravings/food intake, but how long can you take that, and what will happen when you stop it?
551496 tn?1215614366 If you are eating very little and rapidly losing weight, you can often lose your periods b/c of that alone. I agree with the previous poster. Stop the Phentermine and see what happens.
494656 tn?1209640771 I have used adipex(phentermine) and have had the B12 shots before and it was awesome. That was before I had kids and moved to NC and then to SC where I currently reside. I have had two kids and Im approximately 45 lbs overweight. My daughter is 7 months old and I know they say to give it the same amount of time it took to put it on. Well Im only 2 months shy of that date and I still have 45 lbs to lose.
429963 tn?1205437753 Who was that Hollywoood idiot that took some meds and came down with a temporary case of bipolar? When she sobered up, the bipolar went away. please. However, i have heard of people...wait, that's sz and LSD. There's OTC **** that can make your high horrible, and your down profound.
Avatar f tn t think that you can take both together. But, I am not a doctor. Which is why I recommended you talk to a doctor who bothers to read labels. Hope this helps. Best wishes and please feel free to ask if you have any more questions.
Avatar n tn m curious why more studies have not been conducted to study the correlation between phentermine and acne? Acne is not listed as a possible side effect of phentermine, but phentermine is considered a methamphetamine; methamphetamines are known to causes acne. I am a biology teacher and am frustrated that medical professionals are not confirming the overwhelming reports of acne being associated with phentermine. Is it a conspiracy????
Avatar f tn I prescribed60 mg of adderall but one week I had to take left over phentermine and 10mg adderall and my focusing was great and energy and I still do take 1/3 of phentermine a day.
Avatar n tn I have done Phentermine and Fastin and other pills and patches and things you put in your coffee and stuff you do every other day and on and on.... Feb 15, 2011- I decided enough was enough. I finally accepted that to lose weight, I will have to actually Get Up Off The Couch and DO something. I started by walking on a treadmill (started at a mile) and now I am up to 2 miles. I have cut out 99% of sodas and sweet tea. No junk food.
1401296 tn?1280799533 I went to my first visit at a doctor in Victoria, Texas last Friday. They gave me phentermine 30mg with 5htp combined and Lipo B injectibles to do at home. I 'm trying to figure out if anyone else has tried this method of dieting and is it safe? I'm at the highest weight I've ever been at (257) and very desperate, but also cautious. Please anyone with information out there let me know.
Avatar m tn My doctor also prescribed taking metformin(glucophage) in addition to the phentermine and birth control. I have lost about 8 pounds in the last month since taking the phentermine but i dont feel like I am losing enough weight for how little i have been eating.
Avatar f tn The advice may not be completely correct for you as the doctor cannot examine you and does not know your complete medical history. Hence this reply to your post should only be considered as a guiding line and you must consult your doctor at the earliest for your medical problem.
Avatar n tn Hello, Phentermine can alter your blood sugar levels, if you are going to try using it please use it with caution and monitor your blood sugar levels more frequently... if you notice changes and if your blood sugars are becoming too low then stop taking phentermine, and seek further advice about what you could use instead of phentermine. Remember that diabetes should be your priority.
Avatar m tn hello. i am 135 and 5'6. i maintained my weight without phentermine and somewhat occasional use here and there. it does train you on how much to eat. i couldn't eat a big meal even if i try. i get full right away. because on phentermine, you eat very little portions and i find myself making better choices. Your stomach does shrink when you don't eat alot, so if you keep up with watching your calories and not overeat or eat past the full feeling, you will be fine.
1032715 tn?1315984234 and im just trying to cope with life without the antiDs but i am acutely aware that i SHOULD be on them and wish that i could be. I wish you luck. If you are having no ill effects from your zoloft, i would suggest you continue on it.
543959 tn?1301315419 Hey how are you doing hang in there babe i took effexor through my second pregnancy and my son was born perfectly fine and in my 3rd pregnancy with twins i was on zoloft and they are both fine. If your in your 12th week the baby should be fine all the important things are formed they said to me there is a small chance the baby will go through withdrawl when it's born but all 3 were fine if that is a concern just gradually reduce your meds towards the end of your pregnancy.
568877 tn?1216822048 I am on Phentermine a diet pill, I have been taking it for 4 months. I have Anxiety and I am also Bipolar which I haven't had any Anxiety for over a year now. For about a month now I have been having Anxiety attacks and Depression really bad. I fought out I shouldn't take Phentermine if I have Anxiety or Depression. So I was going to get back on my meds. that I used to take which was Welbrutain XL and Xanxa .
Avatar f tn My doctors suggest that I take Phentermine but im taking levothyroxine 88mg and Cytomel 5mg due to thyroidectomy 3 years ago and I have gain weight due to hypothyroidism. Have anyone tried the phentermine while on levothyroxine and Cytomel?
Avatar f tn I have regularly been checked for thyroid and diabetes. I do take medication for bipolar disorder and manic depression. Neither of these drugs are supposed to cause weight gain either. Phentermine is a stimulant/appetite suppressant. I am going to try liposage slim wrap this week and see if that helps.
198504 tn?1195158059 I was able to get off the phen in less than 2 weeks. Once my body adjusted to less food/cals, I no longer needed it. BTW, I was only taking one pill a day but did find I was hungry at night (a bad habit from nibbling late hours even when not hungry) so I took half in the a.m. and then the other half later in the day. Hence...no late night jitters. Consider doing it this way and see what happens.
Avatar n tn Hi, I can only give you my experience on Wellbutrin - I had the hectic sweats, dry mouth and weight loss. Not everyone has the same reaction and you have an additional medication to take into account. Best of luck.
Avatar f tn I just wanted to copy this info for you. You may want to google phentermine addiction, it is addictive and does cause withdrawal, especially as tolerance builds. Phentermine can be addictive. People can develop a strong desire (cravings) to take the drug, and a need to increase their dosages to achieve the effects they want. They also avoid stopping the drug because every time they try to stop, they go into withdrawal.
Avatar n tn You should actually continue to take your Synthroid and let your endocrinologist know that you are pregnant so that they can monitor you and adjust doses as needed, as pregnancy sometimes messes with your thyroid (or lack there of)
