rozerem

Avatar f tn Hello! Which sleeping pill is stronger, Belsomra or Rozerem? I take 2 tablets of Belsomra at night for 20 mg plus 2 tablets of Donormil. Should I try Rozerem?
Avatar m tn The chemical is called Melatonin. You can buy melatonin at any vitamin store in sublingual pill form. I take Effexor and have found Melatonin quite helpful.
Avatar f tn chronic insomnia with anxiety disorder. I take escitalopram in the morning. Can Rozerem replace Zaleplon?
Avatar n tn I have taken about 40 doses of 10 mg over 140 days and notice a problem with short term memory. Does this get better? How can I improve it. I am done with the stuff and think it is better to drink yourself to sleep instead if you are really desparate.
Avatar m tn I am actually being tapered from Risperidone and Xanax by my Psychiatrist and am having sleep problems but I shall take Melatonin or Rozerem instead after consulting my Psychiatrist as I dont want go through another withdrawal syndrome.
1088646 tn?1256949923 This may not work for you. I always had sleep problems and lots of pain. I can't take Ambien because I sleep walk. My therapist is also a hypnotherapist. Recently my therapist taught me how to hypnotize myself. I fall asleep immediately and usually sleep through the night. I also use the hypnosis for depression and anxiety.
603015 tn?1329862973 I had my seroquel during the day upped, and then switched over to the extended release which will work all day. I also had my lamactil upped as well, 5//7 nights it works well. I take ativan if I need it, but take Trazadone for sleep every night, it's not a tranq. like the other meds. If I've been sleepy without the Trazadone, I just don't take it, and haven't seen any adverse affects regarding this. You might want to talk to your pdoc about a sleep med switch.
Avatar f tn Isn't Rozerem very closely related to melatonin? I've tried melatonin and valerian for insomnia. Neither with much success. Surely there are other alternatives besides trazadone and rozerem. I would like to know what they are.
985832 tn?1249126599 I do walk everyday and I take melatonin at night but even though it makes me really sleepy I never stay asleep. Help needs some zzzzzzzzzzz. I think we all know with Bipolar sleep is a must. PS This has been going on for years!!!
Avatar n tn I have tried taking melatonin time release. I have took 2 5mg at night with no help. I want something safe that I will only be taking for 5-7 days at night so I can sleep with the withdrawals. I have learned that Lunesta is not a good option due to the side effects. Thanks Susan.
741315 tn?1232458427 its still hard to focus but its a different impedement on the meds its not the same kind of distraction or process. i want to stop taking them but i know how bad things are when i am not on them. i do not know what i shoudl do.
1673169 tn?1316541930 t take it every night though because it can then affect your own bodies ability to create melatonin. I just take it when I know I need a good nights sleep. You may also want to ask about something like seroquel to help you sleep.
Avatar n tn Is anyone familiar with this I just got a prescription because of an inability to sleep and she said it is not habit forming?
Avatar f tn ve had problems with getting to sleep and staying asleep for several years. How long can I continue to take seroquel for sleep? Sometimes it works and sometimes not.
1021912 tn?1251693068 When it nears bed time, my heart begins to beat excessively, and I have a permanent anxious/nervous feeling. I try to sleep and my mind thinks about everything and will not calm. My doctor suggested Melatonin and I've been taking it for some time, however now it has lost it's effect. I recently, during the course of the summer, have begun taking my mom's sleeping pills, which are called clonazepam 0.5 mg. I take half and it usually does that trick.
Avatar m tn It also may me very mean the next day. Be careful with that one. I take Zoloft with Buspirone for my bi polar and panic disorder and that works well.
1116728 tn?1276797124 hi all my doctor gave me valium for my sleep deprevation but im worried about taking them, i have read that people can become addicted to them and its put me off.
460764 tn?1286237457 You can take Melatonin pills which is what I take. It is like a sleeping vitamin because your body already naturally produces melatonin, so you are just taking an excess of it. It is not a sleeping aid so no worries about chemical inbalance or addictions.Try taking 3-6mg an hour before the time you want to go to sleep. It should make you drowsy and sleepy. If that is not working, it is best to do a sleep study. That will take care of seeing if you have sleep disorders, sleep apnea, etc.
Avatar f tn All I know is that the medication Rozerem which adjusts the sleep cycle in the exact same manner as melatonin is a safe and effective sleep aide but I don't know if its prescribed for children. Its complex with medications for children as the dosages and responses are very different than adults. All of the medications you mentioned are used for ADD and work but they are all activating as they are stimulants so its complex as regards sleep.
574118 tn?1305135284 if it is still exists as normal quantity in my body and i have bad sleep it means i need more melatonin than the normal person in order to sleep. So perhaps by giving more melatonin than the usual dose can be more harmful. PERHAPS ??
1310435 tn?1273598077 WHAT CAN I DO TO GO TO SLEEP FASTER, IT TAKES HOURS FOR ME TO FALL ASLEEP I JUST TOSS AND TURN AND THINK ABOUT EVERYTHING??
Avatar m tn Way back you posted about trazadone as being a possible cause of tardives dyskinesia. I have taken it for 3 yrs.as a sleep aid for fibromyalgia & anxiety & it has helped a lot. I can't take Ambien or z-drugs. They wire me & work the opposite just as benadryl does for me, but I am terrified of getting TD or dystonia from the trazadone. How great is the risk? My Dr. told me that in 38 yrs. she has never seen anyone get TD from it & that 50 mg.
Avatar n tn Well then I would go by what it says on the bottle. Natural remedies are unregulated but Melatonin is generally a safe thing to take with reliable brand and quantities but I don't know if it is for children. I usually suggest to people that they ask their doctor about the medication Rozerem which is a sleep aide that is safe and effective and works in the same manner as Melatonin and actually adjusts the sleep cycle but I don't know if that's meant for children either.
994257 tn?1266242692 I dream all night long and never feel well rested. I am constantly tired becasue of it. i can dream wake up then immediately fall back into the dream I was having. I am tired of looking like death because I have dark circles under my eyes. Any thoughts on the matter?
736314 tn?1276884623 Sometimes my meds for sleep don't always work. I have to look at different factors though, did I have a stimulant (even chocolate) or carbs before bed. Did I have a super stressful day? Any hypomania? Did I eat too late in general? Too much sleep the night before. I know with the meds I'm on,( I take trazadone). I take it and hit the hay in 30min or less, if I'm in an active environment, even playing on the computer, it's keeping your brain active.
Avatar f tn I would be careful taking Advil PM as it has an antihistamine in it and might make RLS worse. I mistakenly took Nyquil with an antihistamine in it and had the shakes real bad. So be cautious..
737831 tn?1232095919 There are a ton of meds out there that can help you, the drugs you mentioned made me worse.Ecept Lithium, they are all for Depression, not so much for BP, though used as a 3rd line drug. Lamactil, Seroquel(mania), Topomax, geez a ton - I will send you a link. The meds you have will sedate you, though, you might need enough to take down a horse. If it's okay I'll see if I can find a link and send you a private message, which you can research some meds, and take in the info to your doc.
