can i take allegra with sudafed

I have really bad allergies and can usually get away with just Zyrtec but this year they are way worse and my doc told me to switch it up and try Claritin or Allegra the Allegra seems to work the best when I also take a sudafed but don't take the combo one just plan Allegra and plain sudafed.

If you need to, just take the sudafed. I was miserable for 2 weeks with some cold virus going around and had to take afrin, sudafed, and allegra around the clock or i couldn't function. If the benefit outweighs the risk then go for it.

I am 14.5 weeks pregnant. I have had problems with congestion since 8 weeks. Since about 11 weeks, it has been unmanageable. I have done sinus rinses, nose strips, sudafed, benedryl at night, vicks rub, and zyrtec. I can get about two hours of sleep at night before I wake up with my nose running and nose clogged. My husband has started sleeping the guest room because I keep him up at night. I tend to go through a roll of toilet paper blowing my nose in two to three nights.

yes only Tylenol. I think you can take Sudafed, (call a pharmacy to check.) but you're better off just googling some home remedies that are natural.

Try sudafed. It's safe during pregnancy.

Those two are about all you can take, as well as Sudafed and Benadryl. The good stuff that works fast is off limits lol. Good luck, I've been fighting my cold for almost a week now. I also use vicks and it helps a lot.

Tylenol, Sudafed and benadryl are all safe for colds or allergies.

ve never had a fever or headache with any of this. I have started to take my allegra again and today I started coughing up a little mucous again and my nose is running again. Can someone please tell me if there's an order I need to take these meds in or suggest anything I could do? I also need.

It will have no effect on you while trying to conceive but i think it isnt safe to take during pregnancy. I think when i read the leaflet that comes with it it says not safe during pregnancy, or consult dr if pregnant.

I have had fluid behind my eardrum since September 2010. My physician looked and saw fluid behind my eardrum and said it's caused from allergies or sinuses. I do have allergies and postnasal drainage. I was prescribed Flonase for 30 days, which didn't work, then prescribed a 7 day steroid medication, this didn't help either. only thing that will help! You could use ibuproferen take at least 600 mg.. I did that before I got this Also try mucinex for sinuses or chestfor the chest tightness you don't know you have yet! other things hat help me get through it ocean ultray spray at least three times a day. I did try the sudafed, but if zyrtec makes you tired then sudafed will too. Especially the 60mg.

I felt quite tired/weird dizzy though this wedding so I obviously overdosed. I remember that I use to take things like hismanol and sudafed which have since been banned as they have been found to be dangerous. Could this have caused me any long term permanent damage? My doctor gave me a list of medicines you can take during pregnancy for a cough ot says you can take robitussin and robitussin dm. But you can ask your dr if youre really worried.

If you ask your doc, they can tell you better what medicines you are allowed to take. I know if I had a really runny nose, I would take benadryl at night to help me sleep and help my cold. I'm not big into taking medicines, so I try to do more natural things that work. But I really do hope you get some relief and feel better soon!

If you're over 13 weeks you can take Tylenol cold, Sudafed, sugar free Robitussin, sugar free cough drops.

t remember right now what it is) but I took it when I was pregnant with my first, before I knew I was pregnant. There was no complications due to taking it. I know it's not on the list but it works for me.

i just pulled out the packet i got from my OB. the pregnancy safe med list says you can take the following: Plain Robitussin or Robitussin DM Sudafed Zicam Chlortrimeton Benadryl if you are having trouble sleeping. and even tylenol PM (since benadryl is the sleeping agent in it.
