I took robtussin dm for diabetics and I was around that many weeks when I took it.

Chest congestion and coughing- robitussin DM, Trind-dm, vicks cough syrup. Sore throat - cepastat lozenges, cepacol. Allergies- benadryl, claritin. My ob gives out this list of over the counter. Hope this helps.

my question is which cough syrup is it that people buy over the counter to get high, and what is it in the ingredients that makes them high? I would appreciate anyone's insite since I don't even take over the counter cough syrup even when I'm sick cause it always makes me very nauseated and I throw it up. Thanks in advance for your help. My friend is desperate to know if her child is in danger with all this cough syrup use.

I have taken Advil cold and sinus before and it works. As for the cough syrup i have used the Robitussin or Triaminic stuff. Ask the pharmacists about it too as they will help you.

Halls cough drops and Robitussin dm the yucky syrup. I know it ***** but it helped me and I had a haggard cough with some nasty mucous.

I think Robitussin DM is okay. I have a pvcs's and pac's and svt and can take it. My doc told me to take that. You can always call the pharmacy and check too.

You can take robitussin cough syrup, just the original though no "DM" or other extra stuff. Zyrtec, claritin, and sudafed are all ok too.

Tylenol, saline nose drops, robitussin DM, Dimetapp DM or Sudafed? Hope this helps you a little....as far as your child at home...I would definitely speak with my Pediatrician...there are too many things that arent safe at all!

But DXM is found in cough syrup and taken in extremely high doses can cause you to feel high. Its really big with teens these days as it is over the counter. I watched that too and it was nuts wasn't it. I felt bad for him. I really did.

My gyn on Thursday told me mucinex should be ok, but all I have is mucinex dm. Should I take it? I need relief fast!!!

Actually phen contain more risk of cardiac attack. Do you have obesity problem? It is better to go for sugar supplement rather than phen.
