Narcotic cough medicine or the DM type? I was hooked on narcotic cough medicine for years and got my addiction stated on it before there were even hydro pills. I had to drink some rough stuff like turpenhydrate and codeine and some other nasty stuff before I found the cleaner stuff but am not going to get into all that. There can be some problems from the other ingredients in cough medicine.
Not sure on the phentermine. I took phen two different times and never noticed a change in mood. but, it being a stimulant I would guess your mood should begin to recover in about 7-10 days. Of course for you to get back to 100%, may take up to 3 months.
tell us, what are you doing different this time to prevent another relapse? As stated on here before, Nothing changes if nothing changes....
Hello all I'm on day 9 and still clean :) I have a question before I started detox I had bronchus I think that is how u spell it lol well I did not take the cough syrup because I was not sure if it had a narcotic in it.
Between December 2002 and October 2005, 189 non-diabetic patients were treated with Peg-IFN-alpha/Riba, of whom five developed type 1 DM (2.6%), three type 2 DM (1.6%) and one an indeterminate type of DM. Classical symptoms of DM were present in three patients who developed DM shortly after cessation of Peg-IFN-alpha/Riba. In the other patients, symptoms of DM were either indistinguishable from side effects caused by Peg-IFN-alpha/Riba or absent.
I have recently taken my self off the prescription narcotic fentanyl and percocet. I was on for over 10 years. It is going on three weeks since I have been off the medicine. Now I have excessive mucous buildup in my nasal cavity going towards my throat my mouth constantly fills up with mucous and saliva. I go throug 3 - 4 rolls of paper towels per day just to catch it. Is this part of the withdrawl. I know that narcoctics tend to bind the fluids in you body.
By May I gained 3lbs, and Phen-phen (30mg) was added to my regimen. By mid-June I gained another 2lbs, and my doctor took me off the Levothyroxine. I am seeing a nutritionist, still on the Phen-phen, and a daily Vitamin B shots. By July 23rd, gained 2.4 lbs; no longer on Levothyroxine, still seeing the nutritionists and I am back to being extremely fatigue, lightheaded, chronic itchness, and not focused(it seems as my brain and mouth are at a disconnect). My life has been turned outside down.
I started the meds approximately a week ago. I was told the Phen would give me all of this energy and that the Metformin would keep me in the bathroom a lot until my body adjusted, but I have had neither really. The first couple of days on the Phen I had a boost of energy, which I loved, but it quickly faded. I am now constantly tired, no matter how much sleep I get. From what I've researched fatigue can be a side effect of both medicines.
when I thought something painfully,the allergic phen— become serious.Recently I find a kind of neurotransmitter called Histamine that probably be the main anaphylactogen.For this kind of compound could contribute to allergic phen— like hard to breathe,coughing,sneezing,tickling.For it is a kind of neurotransmitter,I think there must be some reasons that it is intensly related to mind.
My doctor told me I can take robitussin DM for my cold. Is robitussin cough+Chest congestion DM the same thing?
i too was on phentermine and kinda hit a wall - stopped working and couldn't sleep well.. i requested meridia (big $) to replace/in addition to the phen and it gave me terrible gastric pains.
doc then had me try the phen in the morning and diethylpropion (tenuate) in evening (where i was having sleep issues). worked wonderfully. i had considered asking for phendimetrizine but i read it was a schedule 3 drug and i had read a bariatric magazine article that casually linked it to pph.
I just drank warm tea and honey and got lots of sleep and kept my vitamin c level intake really good and I got better in 2 days
Though not a certainty, there are reports in animal studies of a possible connection between narcotic pain medications (Vicodin is one) and hypoglycemia. As you know, severe hypoglycemic reactions, like the ones you are now having, are dangerous, but it will be hard to know if Vicodin is or isn't the contributing to them without stopping it and seeing the result.
I guess I am afraid of diet pills after the ruckus with Phen-phen. I was assured Redux was VERY safe--no adverse side effects I have since learned I have pul. Hypertension and 3 damaged heart valves.This causes depression when I think about it. I was a hospice nurse. I am on Wellbutrin among others. I have NO desire to eat. I simply eat to live. I'm in the process of switching to a new dentist and the new patient form I had to fill out asked "Have you ever taken any combination of the drug known as 'fen-phen'. This includes phentermine (Adipex, Fastin, etc) and/or fenfluramine (Pondimin)." What does it matter if I have taken this? I haven't taken fen-phen, but I have and do occasionally take phentermine?
Hi - I am taking Phen short term to get past the plateau. I lost 130 pounds and have been stuck for 2 months, but the Phen seems to be working - lost 8 pounds in 6 days. I only have 30 pills and am being monitored by my doctor. 15 pounds to goal and then just have to maintain it! Thanks!
My memory seems better after a year post tx. Also my rage after riba is much better too. Are you on a anti depressant? I think that may help. It sounds like you need to see a psychiatrist who can prescribe something for these symtoms. I had anxiety attacks, years ago. I went to a hypnotist. I really helped, I have never had them again. I do get anxious at times, but nothing like I did before. Exercise is great. Also Vit. B.
I appriciate that you inform me so I ll be for carefull next time. The problem is that I want to order the Phen 375 but its difficult to have to Cyprus cause of castoms. What is your suggetion of the best product helping losse weight.
This was one of my worries when I first found out I had some valve problems in 2009, because back in 2007 I went on Phen for 6 months then went on it again in 2008. Even though I had never had any problems from it directly. I thought maybe it had caused problems such as PPH.
Every cardiologist and EP I saw said Phen alone is not the ingredient that caused problems; do I believe them? Heck no...
