I had bronchitis for 2 weeks last month and before I knew and got antibiotics from my doc he said only to take robitussin that had no matters after it (dm etc.) and benedryl.

I have a stuffy nose, major headache & throat hurts. I'm 35 weeks pregnant & doctors office is closed till tomorrow morning what medication can I take that will be safe for me & my baby?

Is it more better 2 take phen before or after breakfast? What kind of prescription will work best with phen to curb my sugar/sweet craving?

I'm in the process of switching to a new dentist and the new patient form I had to fill out asked "Have you ever taken any combination of the drug known as 'fen-phen'. This includes phentermine (Adipex, Fastin, etc) and/or fenfluramine (Pondimin)." What does it matter if I have taken this? I haven't taken fen-phen, but I have and do occasionally take phentermine?

My doc told me robitussin dm for colds or sudafed for cogestion..

I sympathize I know what you are going through. I hve found out that weight loss is harder for some than others. I used to be very small. Went on Paxil and gained.. lost with phentermine. Now after having 3 kids within 5 years really did a job on me. Weight loss is work. Those pills only help curb appetite. I love my carbs so I need to take meds because I am simply too weak to resist.

And they both rely on the same transport mechanism for entering the cells. When there is a lot of glucose in the bloodstream, as in a hyperglycemic diabetic, Vitamin C is "out competed". Which is why people with diabetes don't absorb Vitamin C efficiently.

Obviously you should have a check up. However, while Phenfen definately caused problems in a statistically large portion of the people who took it, it did not cause problems in everyone. If you have an echo and it turns out that your heart came through unscathed structurally, then thank your lucky stars that all you have is SVT (no minor thing by the way).

hi nilda i found a forum that help me to buy phen or to find a Dr that it is able to prescribe it. if you are really are 197 lb i do not think the Dr. will have a problem.

By May I gained 3lbs, and Phen-phen (30mg) was added to my regimen. By mid-June I gained another 2lbs, and my doctor took me off the Levothyroxine. I am seeing a nutritionist, still on the Phen-phen, and a daily Vitamin B shots. By July 23rd, gained 2.4 lbs; no longer on Levothyroxine, still seeing the nutritionists and I am back to being extremely fatigue, lightheaded, chronic itchness, and not focused(it seems as my brain and mouth are at a disconnect). My life has been turned outside down.

You can take mucinex, robitussin, vapor rub.. Tylenol for pain.. cough drops..

Thanks so much for the info. The treatment is for my wife who has suffered from peripheral neuopthy for about ten years. She basically is taking neurotin (anti seizure med) for the pain in her legs.

All of my friends who were sick during pregnancy had to suffer b/c they said that Tylenol is like taking jelly beans!

My son has been a Type 1 diabetic for 8 years. He is now 14 years old. It is an on-going battle between the two of us to get him to write down his sugar level and insulin when he checks. He is on a regimen of Lantus and Humalog and basically uses his own discretion when counting carbs and giving insulin. Does anyone have any suggestions on how we can better track his numbers, besides me following him around with a log book? He uses the Accu-Check Instant meter.
