so my docter did surgery one year later, he took the nail out of my leg and replaced it with a plate and and screws, during surgery he broke my fibula to get the plate in place. i dont no why he did it but my tibia feels alot better and now my fibula is broken, my question is has anyone ever had a corrective surgery on there tibia and had there fibula broken. And how long does it take for the fib to heal and am i screwed ? i dont know what to do.

Last night we opened our backdoor to find a stray kitty (adolescent male). I noticed he was malnourished and gave him some milk and chicken (all I had for an animal). Then I noticed he was favoring one leg. I think it might be broken! I've called a few places and no one wants to deal with him, of course. As i looked at the x-ray result after the operation, i wonder if he made the operation right because the cracked bone still protrudes and the big space between the broken bone is noticeable(please see pictures in my profile). Does the protrusion of the bone can have a great effect if we talk about the healing process? As I looked at the x-ray result, I doubt if the screw missed its target, but I'm not a doctor to say that my opinion is right. Hope anyone could help me.

Pictures can be such a touchy subject depending on where you are at at life. When I was dating my college boyfriend, we went to visit his mother whom lived out of state and wasn't married to his dad anymore that I knew well. How ignorant does one have to be? You could see the bruises in the pictures....she suffered TWO broken legs at the same time while in their care....uhm DUH!!!! Has anyone broken their Tibia and fibia? I broke mine two years ago and am still having problems. I have a plate and eleven screws. I am thinking of having them taken out in the hopes that it will releive some of the discomfort. Any information from someone who has done this would be great.

I would also try to straighten it out throughout the day by putting it in my left pant leg between my pants and my leg. Anyway... it still works fine now it just has a slight curvature to the left. My question is could there still be complications associated with the fracture or do you think I'm fine? Also do you think it's possible that my penis did not fully develop to it's full potential size due to the fracture?
