Have a broken leg, pain is exceuciating at night. Is there any pain medicine I can take that would be okay for baby? Or just Tylenol...

s a severe pain--like a broken foot/leg that will be painful for a long time. The pain meds are making my POTS allot worse. I've tried Demoral with Phenagan and Tramadol. Tramadol is the least problematic, but is causing bad POTS issues. I tried not using anything, but can't take the pain. I broke all the bones and my ankles off. Have 10 screws and a plate. Had to have all the ligaments and tendons reattached. Basically, broke my foot off my leg.

Jean, Since you said that the cause was sciatica I am assuming that the pain is ocurring down the back of your legs? I have leg pain which feels like the bones are aching. I have been told by several neuros that this is neuropathic pain which why the Vicodin didn't work. Neuropathic pain calls for different types of meds , usually a drug called gabapentin and/or anti-seizure drugs. These can bring the pain level down to a tolerable level.

m scheduled for csection next week, which is a huge relief with the pain, but he said it could take 6-12wks to heal. Was wondering what other peoples experience was? Did it get better after delivery?

I can only stand for so llong w/out pain, and I can only sit o the doughnut for so long w/out pain. When I got my period it was hell. I felt pain moving from my sacrum to my front, was throwing up and miserable. lately, at night I get sick to my stomach and dry heave(which makes the back pain worse) and feel completly nausious. I can only sleep for 2 hours conscecutivly due to pain and discomfort.

2 lumbar vertebrae broken, broken clavicle, shoulder, road rash from head to buttocks, broken hips and pelvis from being run over by another vehicle. I was able to recover from this and return to active duty. Over the years since, I have developed arthritis and fibromyalgia. However the pain level was manageable up until the last couple of years. During the winter of 2007 I developed water on the knee and overdid it when shoveling the driveway. Since then the pain has increased 10 fold.

They are not mosquito bites,I went on vaction to Central Oregon and was playing in backyard and got bitten about 15 times on each leg and it looks like you could play connect the dot on my legs. They itch so what is good relief from them so I do not stratch them.

I only have 69% lung function and I also have no spleen. I also had surgery on my sinus 1 month after the first one. i am on the cpap manchine. I have inflammation all over my body. Im am taking Naproxen 500mg,levaquin 500mg. I also having prostate problem. my feet always cold. it is difficulity to walk after driving for hour or setting for hour. i sweet so bad in summary, while setting under a air condition. my diaphragm and lung hurt more.

What is the best pain relief to take when you have Hep C ? I am not on treatment at this time and i have chronic back problems as well as the pains and fatigue associated with the virus.

I've had two or three different kinds of lumbar spinal injections. First one took a week to feel its effects, second one only worked on part of my leg pain however I was greatful for ANY kind of relief. I think there're worth it from my own experience!! I hope ur wife can get some relief!!

my questtion is im still getting pain at the fracture site and im still walking with quite a heavey limp could anyone tell me how long i will have the limp and the odd nagging pain at the fracture site or will i have this for life? i have a rod and 3 screws in my leg to would it be advised to have these taken out after full bone healing and could this be contributing to the limp and pain.

I suffer from pain in my legs mainly my right leg which can be so painful that my pain relief (codine 30mg paracetamol and gabapentin) that i take for my back pain does not help. its like a ache but a very very painful ache. when i walk my calfs are painful too. i have resenting noticed that upon standing onto my feet to walk my feet and legs hurt. im am a 24 year old female. with 2 children. i also have problems with lower back pain and nerve pains.

The only thing that gives me relief is pushing both feet against the wall and applying pressure. I walk like a have a broken leg or something cuz the pain is horrible even during the day. Apparently they have these weird stocking that helps with blood circulation.
