A lot of times breasts secrete some fluids that may even look milky, and that's normal. If it concerns you, you may want to express and see how the fluid looks. Also go to a gynecologist to get more information.
My theory is, if breast milk is so much better for a baby than formula, then why do you need to feed a every 2 to 3 hours on breast milk and every 3 to 4 hours on formula? Breast milk is natural, so it can be deemed as "better" and easier on the babys tummy, but formula has a garenteed amount of vitamins and minerals in every serving and as a mommy, i want to make sure my baby is getting all the needed vitamins and minerals in every feeding.
Breast milk is super-resistant to bacteria. It's way more durable than formula, which means that you can leave it out a while and refrigerate it and the baby can still drink it. Look up La Leche League for information.

So I work in a milk bank which includes mixing breast milk for the the infants in the hospital. Two weeks ago I accidentally splashed breast milk on my face. I immediately washed it off. I have read that HIV can be spread through breast milk and my mind suddenly started racing what if someone had tried it and returned it and then we were playing with it, or what if someone was putting it over the top of their clothes like me and had milk leaking through their top like I sometimes do. Is there any risk to me or my son? I'm guessing the answer is no, but need some reassurance from people who know what they are talking about.
There is nothing wrong with bottlefeeding but breast is best. Even if you struggle to breastfeed you can always express your milk into a bottle, it's full of antibodies and has huge benefits. I breastfed for a month and struggled but expressed for a while after. We ended up using formula from the age of 3 months to a year but I do wish I could've breastfed longer, and will try harder this time. There's nothing wrong with formula.
So, I'm 38 weeks pregnant and for probably the past two weeks my breast have been leaking but it's only been one, not both does tht mean when I have my daughter that only tht breast will produce the milk :/

If it's formula, they usually have you start at 2oz and work it up as baby gets older and hungrier. If your baby is bigger, they may want 3oz to begin with. Not sure if it's different for pumping and breast milk though.

He said, because of the milk in the breast the mammogram and mri would not show good information about the lump. he also said the biopsy would not work either.
Is there any chance a mammogram or mri still show more information about the lump if i empty the breast very well before the procedure?
I just cant seem to be able to wait 2 more weeks for a verdict on this.
In case I stop breastfeeding, how soon will the imaging show correct information about the lumps?
So I'm due tomorrow an I plan on breast feeding but the only time I notice anything come out of my boobs is when I squeeze them a little an even than there's not hardly anything coming out :( I'm really worried I won't have any milk an won't be able to breast feed.. anyone else so close to your due date going through this??
Oh and the major difference between adults and babies is adults don't drink ounces of breast milk a day. If any milk happened to get into an adults mouth saliva would deactivate it.
