Avatar n tn Hello, I had breast augmentation - silicon gel - (plus mastoplexy) done on 20 July this year (areolar approach, above the muscle). On 5 August periareolar erythema developed bilaterally. I feel burning and tightness at the top of my breasts. I have no fever, no pain, no evident swelling, normal CBC, ESR, CRP. Ultrasound did not reveal free fluid, only thickenning of the skin on the left. I am on 5th ATB since, last two days added Sporanox tbl.
592208 tn?1219067611 I had breast augmentation 7 months ago> I am still experiencing intermittent pain in the muscle. This happens many times throughout the day and everyday. My areolas are very sensitive & side of both breasts are still numb, I told my surgeon and he said it was normal, I will have to massage my breasts for the rest of my life. I also have a lot od scar tissue on my right areola. This from day one.
Avatar f tn Hi I am 42 years old and only 3 weeks ago i had a breast augmentation surgery. since 10 days and i think since i started the massage to the breast in order to get them closer which is 5 minutes of massage morning and night, i feel a very annoying burning sensation! the only thing that makes me feel better is putting ice in between the 2 breasts and below it! otherwise it is burning like crazy! however i am going to the gym for a 1 hour walk as i hate to stop exercise!
Avatar f tn Hi, I got a breast augmentation over 3 weeks ago. My right side was healed in a matter of 2 weeks. My left feels tight....and not as relaxed as other. I am doing the messaging.............every day 3 times... Is this normal?.... Is the tightness swelling? I am worried that it's perhaps capsular? If not,... How long before you can determine it is a capsular...?
Avatar f tn Hello! I had an augmentation about two years ago, and was pretty bad and stopped doing my massages until last night I realized they were kind of hard. So, I moved the implant around, and although one is softer now, the right one is still more solid. The right one did make a squishy noise, and is more swollen now. t has blue veins running down it now too. Has anyone ever had this?
Avatar n tn I also massage my breast every morning thingking that by massaging my breast could disappear the lumps on my breast. How was your condition now by the way. I hope it is not serious also. Goodluck to you also....
453893 tn?1205863401 If it is scar tissue, it is removed surgically or excised by your breast surgeon. You could try some warm compresses, breast massage and pain relief medications till then. Let us know whether pain relief medications help in your case. Keep us posted about what your doctor advises. Regards.
Avatar f tn She went into surgery for about 45 mins, came out, went home and that was the end of it. Both my sisters now have breast tissue under their underarms and both hate the way it looks. They both had it checked out and the doc told them it was harmless. One sister though has been complaining that it hurts her when she is close to getting her AF so shes going back to the doc to possibly have it removed.
Avatar n tn and wants liposuction and breast augmentation due to breast migration.lm worried that what im reading now will happen...
Avatar f tn I stopped the suboxone one week prior to having a breast augmentation which contained alot of scar tissue and needed the implants replaced. I am currently on opioids for the pain connected to the surgery and I am still experiencing alot of pain, assuming It is coupled with my ms pain. My question is will the suboxone after day six post surgery give me enough pain control instead of the opioids.
Avatar f tn I'm happy to give you those 20-30 minutes and then I'd prefer the freedom to move around and to check on baby intermittently with a Doppler ~BP/other vitals I will be happy to give occasionally intermittently as well ~ move as freely as possible to allow labor to progress quickly and efficiently ~ listen to music ~ stay in my own clothes that have easy access for being checked or at least keep on under shirt under gown ~ family and friends are allowed to come and go as they please
Avatar n tn i mentioned to a massage therapist what that other poster in the breast cancer forum suggested (about pinched nerves in the spine area) and how that can cause breast pain when i went in for my massage today. she agreed that yes it can. it felt a lot better when she massaged my mid-back and there were lots of knots to be found. also, she massaged mt ribs (directly under my breast) and felt knots there as well.
Avatar f tn Any kind of inflammation whether from injury like surgery or infection (appendicitis being a big one), or other irritants like endometriosis or even the fluid from a ruptured ovarian cyst causes scar tissue to form. Radiation for cancer is another big cause of adhesion formation. Any woman who has had breast augmentation surgery has to have someone knead the breasts to keep adhesions from leaving them like cereal bowls stuck to her chest.
Avatar n tn Just 2 weeks ago I had breast augmentation, again with dissolving sutures. Wouldn't you know, my entire chest and armpits are covered in hives. I am on fire with itchiness! Not only that but my hands are breaking out; I even have hives on my palms. They are starting to spread to other areas of my body as well. Good thing "it's not possible" to be allergic to the sutures, according to my knee surgeon! I'm pretty darn convinced he's wrong!
Avatar n tn Hey everyone! Check out this information about lipodissolve. I don’t really know what to make of it all but the procedure seems to be raising lots of unanswered questions: “http://www.medicalnewstoday.com/medicalnews.php?newsid=70876” “http://online.wsj.com/article/SB118160554567831887-search.html?KEYWORDS=rundle” Oh and this website I found also seems to be pretty informative: www.lipotreatmentfacts.org. Anyone have any thoughts regarding all this?
Avatar n tn The pain seems to be emanating from my spine, and tensing up the back muscles nearest the spine. I have been seeing a chiropractor/massage therapist for about 4 weeks now, and it has not helped, because the pain is only after I sleep! I am 23 years old. I help my dad deliver produce 2 times a week in the morning, and I am also a full time sales associate at Sears selling electronics (which I'm on my feet all day.
Avatar n tn With history since 8 years ago, characterized by augmentation of cyclic white vaginal discharge, associated to pruritus, burning, dyspareunia, vulvar erythema and vulvovaginal pain. Since the onset of symptoms and the first consult, I was treated at any times by recurrent candidiasis vulvovaginal (diagnosticated basicly by the clinics findings), without confirmation with laboratory exams or cultures.
Avatar n tn The same sort of thing went on years ago about silicone breast implants. Millions were paid out in class action suits. Horrible symptoms all over the place. Guess what? Not a single study has ever conclusively linked them with any health problem. It is extremely common for women to have hormone disruptions that can cause every one of your symptoms. If you believe strongly that something is the cause, and you take that thing away, 99% of the time the symptoms will clear up, too.
Avatar n tn it started with my calf muscles and it stopped and now its my stomach, under the breast, lower stomach, my breast, pelvic, sides of my rib cage, all of my back arm pits, arms every once in awhile and at night my scalp.
