908392 tn?1316522899 I love this question. *songs that fuel anger... well, I find Rap music to be very annoying. *songs that make me happy... the earlier Beatles songs, prior to the Rubber Soul album. *songs for self esteem... I can't think of any songs that have that effect. *song that makes me sad... "Without You" by Harry Nilsson and quite a few songs by the 70s rock group, Bread... many of their songs (i.e.
Avatar m tn I had a break up approx 6 weeks ago. I thought this was the gal i was going to marry. we were together for 2 years, at times it was on/off but never truly off. This time it is off! I know she has found someone else and i have not. I can not seem to shake the feelings of missing her, at times it really hurts. I have been divorced for 12 years. My kids are 18, 17 and 15. Their mother has quite a few mental challenges.
Avatar f tn t listened to the song you suggested but I have definitely teared up over All of me by John Legend.

1381451 tn?1288095766 Hi I'm 19 years old and my girlfriend of two years and two months just broke up with me out of no where. We were talking (over text message) and then I asked who she went and hung out with the night before, because I kind of have trust issues. Not that she has done anything to not earn my trust. She then says that she can't do this because she can't stand not being able to do anything without me flipping out. She then asks me what I want and I said I just want to make her happy.
Avatar m tn it definetly helps to let yourself cry, i would also suggest talking to a counselor or a close friend so you can share your feelings of grief out rather than bottling it up. give yourself the kindness of time to feel this way, to mourn and feel the grief. things will change, and will be brighter.
Avatar f tn You called him when something happened, you called him probably all throughout the day so you have to just get out of that routine of wanting to talk to him. When I went through a major breakup I would find solace in the gym. I used to work out like crazy. I would take kick boxing, which I found to be extremely therapeutic in healing. I would take belly dancing to feel sexy. I would look good and feel good from the natural endorphins. It also gave me motivation and confidence.

Avatar m tn I'm quite the hypochondriac and my latest worry is that I'm developing schizophrenia, something I'm sure a lot of you fear or have feared in the past. I've been obsessed with music since I was a kid and have always had songs in my head, but now I'm hyper aware of my own thoughts it seems constant, with related words triggering songs instantly from the moment I wake. I even hear songs looping as I'm waking.
419309 tn?1326503291 Friday Night Fight Songs were the best!!! One of my favs was "Don't Fear the Riba" I love that this old Huey Lewis song needs no revisions. Here's one that needs a little tweek...but is really quite fitting: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u7IKg0QVXSA I would belt this one out at the top of my lungs in the car...not a pretty sound/sight..but it helped me none the less.
Avatar m tn I am desperately holding onto hope that the music stops because between the music and the thoughts they kind of feed off of each other and my only break from the music and thoughts are during sleep. While in the hospital they had me on numerous drugs and even did two treatments of ECT and nothing seemed to help. The nurse practicioner is concerned about putting me on zoloft because it may push me manic but at this moment these thoughts and music are taking me away from life.
Avatar f tn I have the hardest time when i try and fall asleep. How did all of you get through your break up/ heart breaks in a positive way?
Avatar f tn Hi there, So, you are having a baby with him, is that right? Are you both teenagers? Lots of big things coming your way very soon. Are you living with his parents too or are you are with yours and he's with his? Sorry for all the questions, I'm just trying to understand. Do you have any support from your own family? On the surface, I think it is smart to expect certain things out of the father of our children.
414018 tn?1268611672 Wow! That's great. Thanks for the heads up. Compared to the price of some of the imaging tests out there, that sometimes don't catch what 'might' be cancerous until it's often times too late, that sounds great!
