Benzaclin topical gel reviews

Common Questions and Answers about Benzaclin topical gel reviews

benzaclin

Avatar m tn The skin on my cheeks seems to be dry right now because of the topical stuff from my dermatologist (retin-a micro gel, used in the morning and left on till night, and benzaclin gel used at night and left on till morning) but normally it feels pretty smooth and kind of soft but also kind of dry. My forehead feels scaly-ish which is probably because of all the imperfections on it but in the summer it is pretty oily and right now in the winter is feels dry and scaly. My jawline is pretty average.
Avatar m tn I've recently went to the doctor and was prescribed Doxycycline and Benzaclin a topical gel which consists of 1% clindamycin and 5% Benzoyl Peroxide it seems that its getting better, I just wanted to know what your opinion was on this?
Avatar n tn Dermatologists have found the most effective topical prescription gel to be Differin especially when used in conjunction with oral antibiotics or an anti-androgen contraceptive pill like Diane35 (females only). Also check out our Acne forum.
1840891 tn?1431547793 I would love to hear from anyone who can offer some info such as how most hepatologists feel about the use of this gel (or any other topical NSAID) in cirrhotics. I just have this lingering doubt that my hepatologist tends to be a little bit too relaxed about some things – it does seem to take quite a lot to actually alarm him. Thanks!
655875 tn?1295695107 This is an over the counter gel geared for sore muscles and aches. Someone at church has a similar injury as me and swears by this gel. This gel also has really good reviews on amazon.com too. I hope this helps with the muscle spasms I have since I can not take a muscle relaxer. It will get it through the mail on Wednsday next week. Anyone here use this?
Avatar n tn Many arthritis sufferers are in a panic over the shortage of Voltaren gel (diclofenac sodium gel) and I get why they are worried. Voltaren gel is a prescription topical anti-inflammatory gel used for all kinds of arthritis pain: rheumatoid arthritis, lupus, and osteoarthritis of the knees, hands and hips. People who have stomach issues from taking anti-inflammatories by mouth can bypass that problem with Voltaren gel.
3136949 tn?1369524705 I never even used U/S gel this time, I used baby oil gel and it works just as good!
Avatar f tn KY jelly is the same as doppler gel. Icky when you think about it I know Lol. Doppler gel is just a little thinner so you don't need quite as much.

Avatar n tn Voltaren Gel is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug, commonly known as NSAIDs. It works by reducing hormones that cause inflammation and pain in the body. Voltaren Topical Gel is used to treat joint pain in the hands, wrists, elbows, knees, ankles, or feet caused by osteoarthritis. This medication is for pain.
Avatar f tn I haverecently gone to my primary physician and dermatologist and they tell me it is acne and prescribed benzaclin/ Atralin and sumaxin. Benzaclin seemed to work at first, but now it seems to make my breakouts worse. The other two prescriptions just dont seem to work at all. What could this be?Herpes? I do have herpes, but my doctor tells me it should only be on the lip (I have it next to the lip) it's not noticeable at all.

Avatar f tn Also, do you think it is alright for him to use his (DCL) revitalizing gel (use for dy skin if you have heard of it) or should he use something like a Lubriderm or CeraVe lotion because he has been using a prescription gel (Benzaclin) at night (it was to clear up the folliculitis) that dries his skin? Thank you so much for your time.
Avatar m tn I am currently taking benzaclin and erythromycin gel at night and Evoclin foam in the day. I also tweeze and wax the hairs. I was wondering if tretinoin cream would help prevent ingrown hairs due to increased epithelial cell turnover? I know laser treatment would be most beneficial but cannot afford it at the moment. What can I do in the meantime to help prevent ingrown hair and pimples in the hair follicle?
Avatar n tn You should take rest for a few days and massage the using a topical gel which will relax your contracted muscles. As such nothing to worry about. Try to reduce some weight.
7566904 tn?1394763978 abbb01 I heard you can also use like aloe vera gel too if you run out...
Avatar m tn Avoid messing and keep the area clean. Topical antiseptic treatment and topical antibiotics such as mupirocin or neomycin containing ointment is very useful. Scarring if any can eb treated by using Mederma. It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps.
Avatar f tn hmmm....that's what I'm worried about with it. Definately not what I want to find out on my trip. :) I will try it, but jumpy is not what I want to add to my anxiety issues! I also ready that Cymbalta helps with Dopamine and Savella doesn't. And my understanding is that Dopamine helps with pain. Interesting. Sara - I will definately keep you posted on my experience with it. Have you tried Voltaren Gel? I love it!!
349463 tn?1333571576 I take Concept DHA prenatals simply because all the other prenatals I tried were those horrible horse pill ones that taste nasty and these are gel caps and smallish so I'm not battling with them.
Avatar f tn t been in remission for 10 years I small bumps that appear at random. Sometimes size of a pencil eraser in diameter under skin. They are sore to touch . A topical antibiotic does nothing to clear. I am using T gel shampoo.
Avatar f tn It involves topical treatments, light therapy and oral medications. Topical psoriasis treatments include topical corticosteroids, vitamin D analogues, anthralin, topical retinoids and coal tar. Phototherapy involves sunlight or the use of artificial ultraviolet A (UVA) or ultraviolet B (UVB) light either alone or in combination with medications. Oral treatment like retinoids, Methotrexate and azathioprine are used in severe psoriasis which doesn’t respond to other therapies. Hope it helps.
Avatar n tn Hi Urmi151, yes I have had this all my life but worse in my teens. I don't know if they have the same drugs as here in the US. You don't want to scrub the area, use gentle fragrance free cleanser and gently wash the area. Scrubbing makes it worse. Here we have Accutane, clinidamycin topical, and other drugs. I also used neutorgena face wash then at bed salicylic acid gel or topical. You can use OXY 5 or 10 cream. I'm sure others will have plenty more to help you with.
5958897 tn?1426798528 I use erythromycin topical gel prescribed by my dermatologist as well as Mario Badescu acne wash. Sort of helps.
