Avatar n tn We have a pharmacy forum on MH go back to the forums page and look to your right.
Avatar f tn I haverecently gone to my primary physician and dermatologist and they tell me it is acne and prescribed benzaclin/ Atralin and sumaxin. Benzaclin seemed to work at first, but now it seems to make my breakouts worse. The other two prescriptions just dont seem to work at all. What could this be?Herpes? I do have herpes, but my doctor tells me it should only be on the lip (I have it next to the lip) it's not noticeable at all.
Avatar f tn No, fish oil needs no refrigeration if it's in gel caps. It's the flax seed oil that needs the refrigeration.
Avatar n tn Hi there, Tammy is right. But, specifically the guidance says "Room temperature storage up to 30 days, if refrigeration is unavailable" Note: if refrigeration is unavailable Personally, I feel this does not include varying room temperatures and I would not advise anyone to leave it out in hi (hot) temperatures. But, that's my personal opinion. Would only feel comfortable to do something like that if I knew the temperatures at which the forumula/medicine would change.
Avatar m tn The skin on my cheeks seems to be dry right now because of the topical stuff from my dermatologist (retin-a micro gel, used in the morning and left on till night, and benzaclin gel used at night and left on till morning) but normally it feels pretty smooth and kind of soft but also kind of dry. My forehead feels scaly-ish which is probably because of all the imperfections on it but in the summer it is pretty oily and right now in the winter is feels dry and scaly. My jawline is pretty average.
10064121 tn?1415176073 The lactation specialist at my hospital said it's good for 12 hours no refrigeration. 36 hours refrigeration. 1 month in the door of a normal freezer. 3 months in a deep freeze.
Avatar f tn After refrigeration, if my baby does not finish all the breastmilk, how long is it good for at room temp???
Avatar n tn s nothing really to pop. It usually goes away within the week. I also have been using Benzaclin for the past few months. I try to use it only when i have a pimple coming on. I know it can make my skin very sensative. I've never had a cold sore, but could this be one?? I dont feel any tingling or the other symptoms I've read about concerning cold sores.
219241 tn?1413537765 s FDA) say that it should be refrigerated too. Australia is the only country to decide that refrigeration is the best way to store under 25 C. (77 F) There are many arguments about whether this correct. It is a hormone, a very sensitive one so it makes sense to me. I know that we are about to get 'blister packs' which will be much better for dispersing and avoiding condensation problems from in and out of fridge, and contamination from handling.
Avatar n tn There is a slight advantage to Pegasys (alfa-2a) The Pegasys needs refrigeration.
Avatar n tn s kind of expensive, so there is no need to discard it for such a short period without refrigeration. You can test it, of course, by giving an injection before bedtime and checking your glucose upon awakening and compare it with what usually happens.
Avatar m tn Thank you for your reply and yes all is well- seems the heat and travel are actually helping to keep her nicely stable!!
Avatar n tn Also i have a prescription face medication cream called BenzaClin which is 1% clindamycin and 5% Benzoyl peroxide. Avatar m tn I've recently went to the doctor and was prescribed Doxycycline and Benzaclin a topical gel which consists of 1% clindamycin and 5% Benzoyl Peroxide it seems that its getting better, I just wanted to know what your opinion was on this?
Avatar m tn One doctor prescribed Benzaclin and another doctor referred me to a dermatologist. After scheduling an appointment with a dermatologist and waiting over three months I ended up seeing a PAC and not an actual dermatologist (if that matters). Unfortunately I lost the notes I had from the visit but she said I had Sebaceous something or the other. She said there wasn't really anything I could do to clear it up. She gave me a Tretinoin prescription for acne in general.
Avatar n tn Though it would be wise to check with a pharmacist to see if insulin would fare well being transported without refrigeration, since it would be a pereiod of about 12 hours and they say insulin can last a month without refrigeration and is being used. Or check with your sons doctor to see what he recommends.
Avatar m tn re taking thyroxine and not desiccated procine hormone. The latter is the only one that needs refrigeration. I keep my thorixine at room temperature, and I sometimes have several months ahead. Yes, I think you're right. The baby gets his thyroid hormones from his mum until his thyroid develops and starts to produce his own.
798555 tn?1292787551 I think probiotics that need to be refrigerated are okay until they are opened, am I wrong? And I think a majority of them do not require refrigeration nowadays, thoes are typically the ones I go for.
229439 tn?1245812437 I had all the same drugs as you except the PIO ( I had the suppositories which needed refrigeration) and none of them had to be kept in the fridge, so you are totally fine.
Avatar f tn Hello - I am only one month post treatment but had the GI problems very severe right after treatment. 2 weeks ago I cut out sugar and heavily processed foods. i also started on Florastor (like an amped up Acidophilus that doesn't need refrigeration). My GI issues improved pretty quickly and are better but not cured. Try some diet changes like no sugar, processed foods & limit your dairy.
Avatar f tn I think once the slides have been prepared there is no need for refrigeration. I believe that freezing the tissue is for the purpose of slicing and preparing the tissue for staining etc. A slide tray might be something to consider. Call the pathology lab to be sure because, after all, we're not really doctors here.
Avatar m tn d try one that is at least 20 billion (the ones that require refrigeration are much better). You also should try cutting down on sugars, carbs, and starches as that is what feeds the yeast.
Avatar f tn I would talk to you doctor the problem is that if your egg salad gets contaminated with a bacteria called Listeria refrigeration will not slow it's growth unlike salmonella and e.coli...because your immune system is compromised during pregnancy you are 20 times more likely to get sick from Listeria and it can cross the placenta and hurt your baby...that is why they say no lunch meat unless heating until steaming...
Avatar m tn Yes i have and am on meloxocam. My pharmacist and I talked about Celebrex with indomethacin. I have not heard of the latter. I'm going to talk to my doctor on Friday about the change. I am a commercial refrigeration tech so I know I'm abusing my body everyday at work. But it's my trade for 25 years so here I am. Any feed back on the 2 drugs would be appreciated.
