The constant never ending dryness of it is making dead skin start to build up so I need an exfoliator to get rid of it, I even read a review that someone posted suggesting using an exfoliator once a week at least while using benzaclin. Only one way to find out how my skin will react.. My derm said I can lesson the micro gel to once every other day if I want.
One thing that I don't get though is she said I can put it all over my face but the pharmacist said not to.
I haverecently gone to my primary physician and dermatologist and they tell me it is acne and prescribed benzaclin/ Atralin and sumaxin. Benzaclin seemed to work at first, but now it seems to make my breakouts worse. The other two prescriptions just dont seem to work at all. What could this be?Herpes? I do have herpes, but my doctor tells me it should only be on the lip (I have it next to the lip) it's not noticeable at all.
s nothing really to pop. It usually goes away within the week. I also have been using Benzaclin for the past few months. I try to use it only when i have a pimple coming on. I know it can make my skin very sensative. I've never had a cold sore, but could this be one?? I dont feel any tingling or the other symptoms I've read about concerning cold sores.

I made it to the doctor yesterday. I took those horrible fentenyl patches off and 24 hrs later, I was in the doctor's office. I showed nothing in my system. I think I felt worse than I had ever felt in my life. He said he could give me suboxone sublingual films for the withdrawals. I have to take 2 per day. I know alot of you on here know some things that I don't about this. Just like me know if it's alright to do this for 2 weeks.
Also you can shampoo twice during each wash and apply shampoo on the scalp without piling the hair on top. It makes sense to avoid the use of conditioner as it also tends to make the scalp oily. when shampooing the hair, switch from warm water to cool water after you've thoroughly rinsed away the shampoo. The cool water rinse helps close the pores of the scalp and slow down the oil production.
One doctor prescribed Benzaclin and another doctor referred me to a dermatologist. After scheduling an appointment with a dermatologist and waiting over three months I ended up seeing a PAC and not an actual dermatologist (if that matters).
Unfortunately I lost the notes I had from the visit but she said I had Sebaceous something or the other. She said there wasn't really anything I could do to clear it up. She gave me a Tretinoin prescription for acne in general.
Also, do you think it is alright for him to use his (DCL) revitalizing gel (use for dy skin if you have heard of it) or should he use something like a Lubriderm or CeraVe lotion because he has been using a prescription gel (Benzaclin) at night (it was to clear up the folliculitis) that dries his skin? I also was prescribed spironolactone for the hirsitism to block the androgen receptors but I dont want to disturb K levels and get hyperkalemia. Should I worry about K levels or if a low dose is prescribed it wouldnt be a problem?
Also I have alopecia in the eyelash region of my left eye and was told the treatment was steroid injections in the eyelid but that would cause cataracts..I am currently in my 3rd year of medical school and I was wondering why that would be a side effect.
Wonder if I will feel better to be off completely and how long it will take. Also wonder if I am able to quit, then I backslide, will it be worse than before, or will I basically pick up where I left off.
My closest sister died at 40, 3 years ago, due to cirrhosis from years of drinking,. (she also was a daily user of benzos and pain pills.) I wonder what physical impact just the pain pills have on a body. Does anyone here know? I have to be around for my kids and hers for a long time.
And i have never used any medicine vaginally. So i am totally clueless. How do i use it?? I read online but it says u supposed to push it with an applicator and my medicine doesnt have an applicator. Has anyone ever used vaginal tablets? If i use my fingers to insert the tablet vaginally.. how far shud i push it. And wud u feel comfortable??
