Benzaclin bleaching

Common Questions and Answers about Benzaclin bleaching

benzaclin

Avatar f tn I haverecently gone to my primary physician and dermatologist and they tell me it is acne and prescribed benzaclin/ Atralin and sumaxin. Benzaclin seemed to work at first, but now it seems to make my breakouts worse. The other two prescriptions just dont seem to work at all. What could this be?Herpes? I do have herpes, but my doctor tells me it should only be on the lip (I have it next to the lip) it's not noticeable at all.
Avatar f tn I would stay away from bleaching your entire head.
Avatar f tn My present endodontist says that bleaching the tooth may damage it and it probably will not get the tooth to the desired shade. He says the other tooth is also too calcified to do a root canal on. He says a better choice would be crowns or onlays. Do the teeth still need to be bleached to get a desired effect from the crowns and onlays? Also is it a better idea to try to keep my natural teeth?
Avatar f tn After many years of bleaching my skin, my natural skin colour refused to return to normal its still fair and i want it to go to its normal dark color, apart from staying under the sun will applying red clay mixed with ginger give me my natural skin color back please reply me please
Avatar f tn A while back I had some bleaching trays made which fit fairly well but the bleach..NiteWhite ACP bleaching kit bleach, would still manage to get diluted with saliva near the gumline, which was the exact place I wanted whitened. I managed to get rid of a lot of the more severe stains, but before I could finish the bleaching process, I needed some crown work and the teeth were too sensitive to continue bleaching until they were capped with permanent crowns.
Avatar m tn The skin on my cheeks seems to be dry right now because of the topical stuff from my dermatologist (retin-a micro gel, used in the morning and left on till night, and benzaclin gel used at night and left on till morning) but normally it feels pretty smooth and kind of soft but also kind of dry. My forehead feels scaly-ish which is probably because of all the imperfections on it but in the summer it is pretty oily and right now in the winter is feels dry and scaly. My jawline is pretty average.
Avatar f tn Recently I noticed on one tooth when I press a certain area near the gum it causes pain. Is this a normal side effect of teeth bleaching or should I be concerned?
2028721 tn?1356682003 If you are to follow guidelines provided on the boxes with bleaching strips, well you should be fine. Did you damage the enamel? It may be a tough question to ask, and one would have to be answered by your dentist during your next visit. A lot of people seem to over-use bleaching products as they expect to have pearly white teeth. That is not the case though, as how white your teeth may become depends on how white your teeth adult teeth were when they just came out.
Avatar n tn Not sure why the bleaching would damage your teeth. Studies show that while bleaching does "damage" the enamel, its considered to be insignificant. You can try something more mild like over the counter bleaching products or a whitening toothpaste.
Avatar n tn s nothing really to pop. It usually goes away within the week. I also have been using Benzaclin for the past few months. I try to use it only when i have a pimple coming on. I know it can make my skin very sensative. I've never had a cold sore, but could this be one?? I dont feel any tingling or the other symptoms I've read about concerning cold sores.
Avatar f tn not sure about bleaching, I've read dyeing is probably ok, but the smell could be an issue.
Avatar n tn t want to use any commercial bleaching product, you may get minimal results brushing with baking soda and water in a paste. It forms a slight abrasive which will help get any stains off your tooth's surface. Rinsing with a water and hydrogen peroxide mixture can also be effective as it has a mild bleaching affect. These will help but the difference will be minimal. Hope this helps.
Avatar f tn s causing the staining. If its an extrinsic (outside) stain, then bleaching or a dental cleaning and polish could help alot. If its intrinsic (inside) bleaching may make a difference but it could also be that your teeth are naturally more yellow. The only option to completely hide the discoloration is to do veneers, which are thin pieces of porcelain that are bonded to your teeth and hide your color.
Avatar f tn I dunno about bleaching though. I think you should wait if you plan on bleaching. I had to deal with ugly swamp greenblonde hair from a bad dye job the whole first half of my pregnancy :( it sucked. And when I finally got to fix my hair and dye it back to my natural dark color, it faded in like a week. Pregnancy pushed all the color out.
Avatar n tn The american pregnancy association says that bleaching or dying hair during pregnancy has little to no affect on pregnancy or bby. There is so little of the ingredients used to dye or bleach hair absorbed into the skin it is of no concern. The main concern is if the product used has ammonia in it as it might lead to fume inhalation which could make you sick. After the 2nd trimester it is considered safe to get your hair done.
Avatar f tn I would ask your Dr, I've heard that absolutely no bleaching while pregnant, and then I've heard as long as you're out of your first trimester it's fine.
Avatar f tn So im bleaching my hair.. so the dye probably had amonia in it. Im only dying a small section of my hair and i already did it so too late. I did it in the bathroom with the door and window open. I got it in as quick as possible and left the room so i dont smell it anymore. I have 18 days until my due date so baby is well developed, but will it harm the baby from that short of exposure?? I know, maybe should have waited but too late.
11804788 tn?1421220520 I know it's fine to dye your hair while pregnant, but since bleaching is a little stronger than normal hairdye, is it safe to use it?
