798555 tn?1292787551 I went on NP Thyroid a few years ago to avoid any future hassles of Canadian ERFA shipments. NP was cheap to, Its pays to compare who you get it from as brick and mortar pharmas use different distributors sometimes. That diff alone for NP is $90 cash vs $250 cash for 90 days in my case. 1 Mile can save me that much $. Walgreen's has a discount club for cash payers.....then its $50 for 90 days. If that "club card" goes, I'll be paying more.

Avatar f tn If you have no insurance there might be a discount card that you can print out and take to your pharmacy. My card saves me over $50 a month for my pain meds. Just google, best prices on Phentenol 120 mgs. Make sure you put in your zip code.
Avatar f tn This is available as a generic, and isn't very expensive. Of course it's cheaper with insurance, but even without it shouldn't be too expensive.

2105194 tn?1333812786 I have been on Dilantin for 41 years. I currently take 400mgs. daily. I have strange thoughts, some that really strange. I asked my doctor to change my meds. But after checking with the drug stores, I can't afford to change, I don't have any insurance. I just recently found a prescription card for Dilantin only. I was paying $75/mth. With the card I pay $24/mth. Anyone have any suggestions?
1260320 tn?1270394906 I'm on Benicar HCT, have been for many years. Benicar is in a group of drugs called angiotensin II receptor antagonists. Benicar keeps blood vessels from narrowing, which lowers blood pressure and improves blood flow. Benicar HCT has a diuretic included as well. I have been fortunate, Benicar has worked from the first day I took it and works well still today. My 90 day average BP is 108/67 down from 135/85 when I started. I have had no side effects as well, the best of both worlds!
19752224 tn?1483745639 t have insurance so I checked out getting a drug discount card. Using it saves me a lot of money on my prescription. I'm not sure what the cost would be for the long acting meds but you can ask your pharmacist. It varies from store to store. Actually, you can research this on line to see what the costs are at different pharmacies. I think the website is called goodrx. Research discount drug cards for the long acting medication. You can save up to 80% off of your prescription.
4900949 tn?1361380560 I dont know if they have discount card in HP. But I just took my HbsAg quantification and it don't have IU/ml in there. A numerical figure w/ COV of 1 are the only indicators.
Avatar f tn Thought we finally found one that worked. The doctor gave me Benicar 20mg and it helped (so did losing 20 pounds) but my BP was still borderline. Then he increased the Benicar to 40 mg. I am having some strange issues that I think are from the Benicar. When I awake from sleeping I have trouble opening my left eyelid. Once I am up this goes away. Now all of a sudden I cannot put the milk gallon in the refrigerator without using two hands.
Avatar f tn When I had Tricare they did not provide breast pumps but that was 3 years ago.
Avatar n tn I'm on Toprol XL, Cardizem, Benicar along with Lasix for HTN. I have a BUN of 32 (up from 24 a month ago) with a creatinine of 1.2. Can it be medication related? I am not overweight nor do I overuse salt, but am concerned about kidney failture.
667078 tn?1316000935 I went through being accepted to SS discount program never to have them come through. Then they suggested I apply for needs based through the Chronic Disease Fund in July they accepted me a day after I refilled even though I faxed in the paperwork asap. They would not honor it until my next three month refill in October. I sold my mother's gold necklace to pay the three hundred dollars. Months later they honored it and credited my credit card.
Avatar n tn I recently had open heart surgery, 4 bypasses. I was on Benicar 20mg. a day before the surgery along with Zocor to control cholesterol. I am now on Plavix, Toprol XL, Zocor and Benicar. My blood pressure has been low, in the range of 90/60 since the surgery but the cardiologist wants me to continue the Benicar. He said it's "good for the heart". Has anyone ever heard of this before? My understanding was that Benicar is for high BP.
Avatar m tn I've recently been having terrible anxiety and one of the changes in my life is that I've started taking Benicar 40mg for high blood pressure. I saw on a post somewhere that benicar can cause this. Has anyone else heard of this?
Avatar n tn About a year ago I was put on high blood pressure medication, Benicar 20mg a day. I have never had any types of heart issue and in the last year have developed or started to notice regular PVC's. I have had them checked out and they are PVC's and they drive me nuts because they make me feel real uncomfortable. Could the PVC's be caused by the benicar?
2009129 tn?1335370857 I think Kate is right, Catholic outreaches are a good place to start. My deductible is 5400, and I know many places do cash contracts at a discount for those in your spot. Good luck!
Avatar n tn Dear Doctor, I am a healthy 36 year old male. In the last year I was put on Benicar 20 mg for high blood pressure. In that year I have began to notice PVC's that started occassionally and now are happening everyday all day. They drive me crazy. My blood pressure is under control and I exercise regularly. Could the Benicar cause the PVC's? I have had them checked out with my doctor and they tell me that they are okay and that they are PVC's. They drive insane.
Avatar f tn I took Nuvigil like Provigil. Go to the company website and they may have a card you can print and take to the pharmacy for a discount. That's what I did with Nuvigil until my insurance started covering it. I started out paying $300 at first. Good luck.
562511 tn?1285904160 Medicare has quit covering many medications this year. My prescription insurance plan is lousy and quit paying for one of my medications all together. I wanted to share with you a prescription card I got in the mail the other day. It said it was free to use (uh huh, sure) Not that I'm cynical or anything. Yesterday I decided to use it and guess what? The prescription that usually costs $30.00 cost me $9.00. I can live with that. I don't know if the discount is always that good.
Avatar n tn Lyrica is a VERY expensive prescription but it works well for nerve pain. When I was taking Lyrica my dr had given me a discount card. it allowed me to get the prescription for $25.00 instead of almost paying $300.00 a month. I would ask your dr if they had samples that they get from the drug reps too. Looking at Pfizers website like suggested by the above poster is a great idea too! Good luck to you!
702707 tn?1228703861 I've read a BUNCH of blogs, posts, and forums about the cost of suboxone. This is what I have found out. There is no generic version of suboxone and there will not be until the patent runs out, which isn't for another year or maybe more. There is a free program that the manufacturer's of Suboxone have where they will let 2 patients of every doctor get their medicine for free every month. If the doctor has more than 60 patients then they can have 3 patients in the program.
