Bactroban for babies

Common Questions and Answers about Bactroban for babies

Avatar n tn 2) My doctor, who is absolutely great told me that bleach baths have worked wonders for small babies with eczema (1/8 cup in a bath tub "full" of water three times a week; however, you should ask your NEW doctor about this) - after the bath, you need to use petrolatum or aquafore? to moisturize the skin 4) Do not bathe your baby too often, cleaning takes moisture away from the skin.

Abby also has eczema that comes and goes - so we have all kinds of stuff for it. One thing we DON'T ever have issues with are food allergies or any other allergy. The last time I had an issue with one of my kids being allergic to something was when DD15 was 18 months old.
165078 tn?1255610007 I took her to her primary last week and he prescribed a topical antibiotic ointment for it but did not think it was a staff infection. Saturday the baby got another low fever but I did not want to mask it with Tylonel again so we went right to Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. Last time we went by ambulance so I had to go to the closest which was St. Christophers.
Avatar n tn She turned one on January 20th and is still breastfed. She has eaten adult food for several months now (lean protein, veggies, fruit, expressed breast milk), but we did not introduce any new foods (to her or myself) around the time of her initial outbreak or since then. Neither of us are on any medications. She does not eat the "usual outbreak culprits" - cow's milk, peanut butter, strawberries, pineapple, citrus, tomatoes, etc.

288415 tn?1231634102 He scraped out my ear, swabed it with violet stuff (similar to what they do for babies with thrush) and gave me a prescription for drops that he said was the only thing that will kill fungus all of the others only keep it from multiplying. I'll get back to you on what the prescription was. I no longer have the itch, crust, etc. now I just have to deal with the perforated ear drum and eustation tube problems.
Avatar n tn I'm looking this up because I cannot afford professional care for something superficial... thanks for your input. You are in the professional skin care business and are saying this is rather unique. I find myself scratching these bumps off. My 20 yo daughter, who is getting them also, and I believe they could be related to our water. We drink filtered tap water. So.. no one has a suggested product that might discourage the formation of these.salt crystals or grains of sand in the skin?
Avatar n tn and she also gave me prescription for Bactroban and Advantan ointment. Bactroban is an antibiotics creams. My lip got better for a few months, but then i saw vaseline in the tube and i bought about 6. I started using it and a few months after my lip started to get really dry again. and i was using my mc lipgloss and lipstick. I went back to dermatologist and i'm back on same treatments. I toss all my vaseline in the tube because it has flavor in the ingredients!!
Avatar n tn Every article on the internet has to do with Strep B in prenatal women (when it is very dangerous for the baby) and nothing about Strep B for regular women in their 40's like me :) Thanks, I'd love to hear from anyone who has ever been treated for this disease or any doctors out there.
Avatar n tn I am 35 yrs old and have only had sex with my husband for the past 9 years. A couple of days I had severe itching on the left lip of my vagina. Now there is something like a pimple but larger. The left lip is hard and has swelled to twice the size of the right. I have tried hot washcloth and also ice. I have gotten some pus to drain out but is still hard and VERY painful. I can haredly walk. I don't have insurance and just had a minor surgery (May 7) to remove a kidney stone.
Avatar f tn I cut and put a couple of pieces of Garlic into both ears - big enough as not to enter fine ear canal. Pressed gently as to get some of the juice out. Got same strong stinging sensation as with TEA TREE OIL which I also used. I put one drop but no more that 2 drops of Tea Tree Oil into each ear . Stinging in ears produced by garlic or Tee Tree Oil can be dramatically reduced by using a small amount of BRIA organic balm (produced by " BRIA Organics ").
Avatar n tn try cleansing your belly button with a q-tip dipped in tea tree oil twice a day for a week... it's great for clearing up bacteria and fungus and will likely resolve it. good luck!
Avatar n tn But then I became more and more worried, and began to research it and that's when I came across this website. After reading everything I decided to go see my OBGYN. He of course tested me for Herpes, and even though I had read everything that you have all been through, and knowing that none of your tests had come back positive, I was still nervous. He also tested me for a yeast infection.
Avatar n tn I am 36 years old and have had the same partner (faithfully) for 11 years. About 10 years about I started having these sores develop in my vaginal region. They almost looked like little blisters. I will just call them Vaginal lesions. When they are about to show up the area will start to itch and burn slightly. Then the vaginal lesion arrives there is considerable pain. It will last for about a week then go away.
Avatar n tn My husband has been having skin rashes around his eyes, raised small red bumps, for several months and just won
Avatar n tn H-E-L-P!!! I've had this uncontrollable itch on my outer labia's for the past 7 years. Everyday I itch, I feel like a freak because I am always scratching (not in public). My labia gets sore from the scratching and I break skin often from scratching. I have tried everthing, but it doesn't go away. I know it's not an STD because I went to the doctor's and have been tested. However they haven't helped me none.
