Then I just got a 2nd opinion and this dr said to quit Atenolol,Isosobide and Ranexa and start Azor and Bystolic and he wants me to have a Cardiolite stress test. I really do not see an improvement with Azor and Bystolic-I think I have just as much angina maybe more on these 2 drugs. My question is what will stress test show that the heart cath didn't show?

CT scan shows no pancreas abnmormality. EGD just yesterday shows no ulcers.He has just taken me off the nexum, lipitor and azor. No ETOH, no NSAIDS etc. Every time I eat I have this pain. It is driving me crazy. I had been taking ibuprofin for the pain.

I an 51 years old I visited about 3 neurologists in my lifetime since i was about 10 years old. the last neurologist put me on epilim and azor .5mg - it seem to keep the dizzyness away. if i became dizzy, I was down for quite a few heavy sleeping hours. as soon as i woke up, it was gone. I could never play netball in school, or go dancing with flashing lights etc. since about a year ago, i started having other symptoms as well.

I recently stopped the flecainide and have had no significant a-fib that I can discern, although some skipped beats. I do continue to take bystolic and azor for high blood pressure. However, since discontinuing the flecanide, I have had what I would describe as a pounding heartbeat (not rapid), dizziness, and consistent blood pressure readings of 140s/50s.

I stopped Azor 5/20 mg about one month ago, still having side effects. Has anyone stopped bp pills and had side effects lasting this long. I was on the drug for two years. Stopped because I started getting side effects that I first got when I started the pill.

Has anyone here hadan RAI for hyperthy? Can you tell me a little bit about what to expect. I'm very nervous about this because of what happens when the gland begins to die and starts dumping hormones in the blood stream. I read it can cause a storm and with my heart problems and high blood pressure, I'm terrified! Does anyone know if being on high does of beta blocker will help this. I'm currently on 400 mg of PTU per day, 200 mg of atenolol, and Azor for BP as well.

I never had a problem until I had my first baby and a week later my bp was 161/110 2nd baby after a week shot up to 191/110. Took forever to go down and was finally put on Azor 5/40 plus a water pill. I went off because my bp was normal after a year or 2, then one night I had a heavy chest, I took my bp and it was 180/108. What concerns me is my diastolic stays high, in the morning my bp can go down to 120/90, the disatolic remains high. or I get readings of 150/99 to 117/91.

I am concerned. I take Azor for high blood pressure, I also have been exposed to TB (1987 took INH and B6 six months) I also have lactose intolerance, I take enzyme for. Should I take this medicine? My blood pressure is controlled with the medication. If I take the digestive enzyme could that eleviate the problem of lactose intolerant? I don't know what to do.

I am taking the same dosage I was back in last August and I was completely stable back then. A 300mg drop with the generic would have wrecked me but I have been kosher. The brand name is FAR more potent and it has been drugging me up, more so than the generic version. It is almost a completely different feeling; strange. But I am completely stable. So, I am very optimistic, I realize that the generic version of the medications can cause me problems and that the brand names work much better.

He just started on a very low dose blood pressure med withen the last three months azor and doing good on that but the doctor said that because of the cyst they may had been the cause of the rise in blood pressure. Is all this info a cause to be alarmed. I read there is no cure for polycystic kidney disease only dialysis and transplant but that is still no gaurantee that the cyst wont return. I have found that any of the brand names and the generic can make arrythmias worse. I have been on generic, Synthroid and Levoxyl at one time or another, and they all cause increased episodes of tachycardia. In my case, I think it's the actual medicine in the pills that causes the tachy, not the fillers. I'm also on a beta blocker to control the tachy. My guess is that it's your increase that has caused the PVCs, not the generic versus Synthroid.

I have frequent PVC's (often with bigeminy) and I also have lots of reflux problems. I have been getting a lot more PVC's the past couple of weeks. I switched from Toprol XL to generic Metoprolol, and I I don't know if that has had any affect. I have also had increased reflux issues during this time. I am getting more PVC's and bigeminy than normal and am noticing it most when I lean forward, especailly while eating. Does this sound like the PVC's are coming from reflux?

My only suggestion is to check on who the generic mfg is. I had a bad arrhythmic reaction to one brand of generic Zoloft, and it turns out the problem is pretty common. I hate to generalize, but in general, if the mfg is from India (such as Aurobindo), consider getting your generic Zoloft elsewhere. My recommendation is Greenstone, as it's owned by the company that makes the name brand, and I've read that the formulation is identical.

I was up to 125 mcg synthroid, then dropped back to 75 synthroid, then switched to 75 generic levo and added 10 mcg cytomel. That was too much cytomel, so dropped back to 5 mcg cytomel and switched to generic; then up to 88 mcg levo, staying with 5 mcg generic cytomel. Am currently on 100 mcg Tirosint and 5 mcg generic cytomel. I take the Tirosint first thing in the morning, per instructions (my day starts 3:30 am). I take my T3 med about 7-7:30 am.

I take omeprazole and it works wonderful!! and its generic so not that expensive at all. I used to take protonix and it worked just as well as the omeprazole.. good luck!

The generic klonopin and non generic affect different people in many ways. I wouldn't hesitate to contact your doctor if it continues over the next week or so. Maybe it's the wrong med for you? Good luck!

Lorazepam and Ativan are the same medication. Ativan is the brand name, Lorazepam is the generic.

There are two types of generic Fentanyl and at least one of you claims that one is superior to the other. Which one is the better of the two? My doctor is probably going to let me try the patches over the methadone and I just want to be sure. thank you for your comments but always consider that i am not a doctor so although i read all research and i have a good knowledge of hbv i have no clinical practice and no knowledge on other illnesses, so this remains an opinion. also steven has very good knowledge on hbv and others so consider many opinions. your age is missing but if you are not in the 40s i would not consider starting this therapy and would wait for more data on combos, from alinia and from replicor.

Now the oxycodone ER is the generic version and if that's listed on your bottle then your most likley taking the generic version. Your pharmacist will tell you which generic brand your taking. As far as I know only malikroft is allowed to make the generic form of oxycontin. When you get a generic your RX bottle will list the name brand and the generic name under it.
