About a month ago I contracted chlamydia with associated joint pain. I took a single 2g dose of azithromycin. Additionally, I have SIBO and constipation predominant IBS. The azithromycin helped with the chlamydia symptoms as well as the IBS symptoms, significantly alleviating my bloating. However, towards the end of the week I started having some urethral irritation again and fairly bad joint pain.

I basically got a gi infection the week before, then following week a stye, nasal infection, sore throat, and ulcers on my penis (the ladder all at the same time) complete with cold chills, joint pain and body pain. I don’t think the ulcers are associated to the head based infections.

Hello everyone after 1 month protected encounter with a prostitue,I still have a mild pain in my left testicals and some light joint pain with mild penis itching I have got my self tested for hiv which non reactive and hsg whose reports are hsv 1 igg 0.01st hsv 1 igm o.16 hsv 2 igg 0.02 hsv 2 igm o.27 as these are strongly negative then through which problem I am suffering please tell.My physician gaves me kit of flucanazole azithromycin 1 gm as stat dose but my problem still persists .

I was originally diagnosed with NGU and took azithromycin. Following this I had recurrent bouts of testicular and UTI type pain, and some joint pain in my ankles, hands, and gritty eyes - so this felt like mild Reiters. I had multiple (more than 20) tests for chlamydia and gonorrhea - always negative. I had 2 negative tests each for Ureaplasmas and Mycoplasma Genitalium, and negative for Trich and Syphlis. Took lots of Doxy in between, leaving 4 weeks after before my last MG and UU test.

Feeling also joint pain like knee above arms, wrist and ankle pain blinking. Eyes watery corner burning sometimes. My question is ,, Chlamydia or gonorrhea if suppose 15 months old in body left untreated .. can show all of system or for this all symptoms cause something else.. Although I did not get test for both of it….

On 10/13, was given a dose of suprax and azithromycin (orally). My urinary urgency started to go away on 10/16, but on 10/17 I began to experience a number of symptoms that seem to overlap with ARS, including sore throat, moderate fatigue, and muscle and joint aches (my most prominent symptom by far). The fatigue and sore throat have mostly gone away, but the muscle and joint pains are still present.

I was diagnosed with Chlamydia about a week ago. They gave me Azithromycin, 4 tablets at 250mg to take all at once. I took them and have severe stomach cramping and nausea, and ended up getting sick about 45 to an hour after taking the last pill... hoping that I would have already digested it before I got sick. The stomach pain lasted the rest of the day. It's been about 3 days now since I have taken it, but I still have that "burning" sensation after I urinate.

Seven days later, I now have a bit of a persisting rectal itch and also a sensitivity to touch/press on the right groin/pelvic joint area, and mild pain when urinating. Is this just a reaction of the infection being fought off, or is there something else that I should consider? Thanks.

I just felt a hard movable node 1.0 inch below my left jaw(near the joint) .It doesn't pain.7 days ago I developed swollen gum on the left side(near wisdom teeth) and its still healing.Now I am not sure whether the gum caused the swollen node or the swollen node(if its a bad news) caused the gum to swell.I have appointment after 26 of November with an ENT.

and also i have lymph nodes in my groin and side of my neck

I started having joint pain a couple of weeks after gall bladder surgery. It is continually getting worse and in my shoulders, wrists and right jaw. My left hip joint has gotten better. As you know i took 20mg isotretinoin for 15 days and pain started in my right hip joint. Went to Arthopedic and he said it is infection. im now on antibiotics (one week on IV augmenten + oxidil and then on ciprofloxacin 500 twice) for last 5 weeks. Today i suddenly feel same kind of pain in my left groin (front of hip joint) . im wondering if there was infection in right hip joint how can that infection travel to my left joint even im on antibiotics.

Hello Everyone, My concern is as follows: the only exposure I have is unprotected oral performed on other men. Since the beginning of the year i have been experiencing pain on my both knees that come and go and well, I'd like to know how does ars joint pain feel like. The doctor diagnosed some patellar disfunction but I doubt it, since I only started running last year and I read professional runners are those who get it. Or something.

Alternatively, your physician might be able to recommend other treatments, possibly including injections into the joint itself or surgery, that can improve your joint pain.
