Thank you for the reply. My normal way to sleep is on the stomach or left side I never sleep on my back. I was on my back during heart by-pass surgery when they found the apnea episodes. I have 14 episodes an hour one point under moderate, I feel I don't really need the c-pap, I now have to sleep on back for comfort for my face,I spend most of the night trying to get comfortable on my stomach but can't!

I would question the fact that the pharmacist chose to ignore an expiration date, I don't think they just pull expiration dates out of the air,thet are there for a reason, it is not legal to sell a medication beyond an expiration date, I don't know why you would be advised to ingest one and have it be effective? He may be confusing a synthetic with a desicated medication, it could be synthetics have a longer shel life, but I would not use any that are expired, even over the counter meds.

Is an unopened bottle of Systane that's 1.5 years past its expiration date safe to use? At least until I can get to the store for a fresh bottle?

So I just noticed that my last two packs of pills have the expiration date of 7/2009. Im supposed to start one of the packs this sunday, and that means I will be taking 4 days of expired pills (the first four days of July). Will this be risky? Hi, I was recently diagnosed with MS and had my first Avonex injection Friday. Friday night was tough (fever, chills, pain and eventually heavy sweating) but I felt pretty good by Saturday morning. Saturday afternoon I started feeling kind of down and by Sunday morning I feel even more so. I can't decide if this is a result of the drug or just the situation as a whole.

I have been on copaxone for little over a year its not working for me so my neuro has asked me to try avonex. My avonex nurse is coming this evening but I am wondering how long you actually gave it to get the symptoms of the shot to calm down. I am crossing everything to hope I dont get the flu symptoms so bad but we will see. I have a husband that works away and 3 small kids to care for, I dont want to be in bed all weekend when its the only time we get to spend as a family.

Hi guys, has anyone not heard from the AVONEX people once they were put on it.??? I have heard from heath nurses, and today, got my WELCOME package, but still no product. I don't know what is going on, and of course the lady or the rep from Avonex is away on holidays till the 2nd. of Dec..... so, I guess we will do it next week ... Just to let you guys know, they stopped my antiobiotic IV today, and said that it was an MS attack. Wherever there are nerves, MS can strike.
