Hello, I’ve had high blood pressure since I’ve been a teen quite stable at 160/80 I’m now 27 years old and have been on medication for 2 years now… I started with avopro 150mg I went down to about 145/70, then they changed my medication to avalide 300/12.
Docs have done many blood tests and say I have mild Diabetes and have me on Metamorphin I believe it is . It is very frustrating but sometimes I drink fluids until I am ready to burst. I am on Avalide for high BP but have talked to others with diabetes ( some on insulin ) and on BP meds and they drink nowhere near whay I do or feel thirsty all the time. My body weight can fluctuate as much as 10 lbs during the week ( daily 3-5 max ) .
No significant health problems other than mild hypertension treated with Avalide. My potassium was low (I think due to the HCTZ in the Avalide). I don't drink, smoke or take any recreational drugs. I saw a neurologist, who says the MRI is normal, EEG is not (temporal lobe irregularities). He's on vacation...I'm traveling alot and can't see him for another 2 weeks. Is this a problem I need to see someone about before then?
Recently I was given biaxin by my family doctor not aware of the possible interaction and I began to retain after only two of them. Since then I have not been able to get my blood pressure under control again. I was on avalide, toprol xl, procardia xl along with the norpace and had to take potassium because it would go too low for the norpace. I have not been able to take avalide since the episode and am now on Avapro which works bettermost of the time than using avalide.

until i started using them like crazy and going thru them so quick that in the very worst i was getting 300 80mg tabs and 200 40mg tabs A WEEK and eating every single one of them...also 120 clonazapam a month...but id run out within two weeks and he would always allow my refill out of the pharmacy early..this dr...is still prescribing pain killers to people here in toronto... the college of drs and phys. isnt trying to help me at all...im trying to get my files released for them but my Dr.
sensival 25 mg side effects.I am getting rashes on the body in legs and hands.Can i know
substitute for the same.
I was taking for last 6 months 2 tabs /day morning/evening.Of late since last 2months i am getting rashes mild to severe on legs and hands.I have tried
antiallergy tabs and moisturisers but apparently no effect.I also took some food supplements in between,but the same I have stopped sensing they may be responsible.
I am 60 next week, had high controlled BP since I was 25, normally 123/71 with resting pulse of 56-63. I take Avalide 300/12.5 and was taking atenolol 12.5 a day until I was in the mountains where I have another home and it raised my BP and lowered my pulse to almost 41 resting. (Again, I ride an exercise bike forty minutes a day) I am a licensed professional and the LVH thing has me worried as if I have to I may need to have a GXT and a Holter 24 hour monitor.
I’m 58 yrs old, 5 ft 10 in and 200 lbs. I’ve been taking Avalide 150/12.5 for pre-hypertension for 8 months. I exercise six times per week and have done so for years; weights twice each week and spinning/bike four times. Any thoughts, input would be appreciated.
blood pressure has been up and down for the last 20 yrs taking avalide 12.5 and diltiazem 360 mgs ,but now i go on this medication terazasin only 2 mg and blood pressure goes to normal .thank you .doe anyone know why vitamin d will not come up to normal

My doctor told me to tAke four estrogen patches every other day plus 2mg estradiol tablet every day to increase my estrogen. He said it should be 300. Esteogen is counter indicated for pregnancy- causes birth defects in children- says right on the label to not take whole pregnant! Does anyone know what their estrogen level was on day of transfer and did doctor recommend taking estrogen? Thanks so much for any help you can give me!
ve been on Lopressor for years to keep my heart rate down and Avalide for blood pressure. Then in November, my arrthymia worsen. So after about 6 weeks of playing with my Lopressor dosage, my doctor cut the lopressor and put me on Cardizem which is a calcium channel blocker like verapamil. My heart rate became much worse...very rapid like around 120-140....after 3 days of this, I begged to get back on Lopressor so we did and it's back to how it was ...no better no worse....
been on less then a 500 calorie diet for the last month lost 25 pounds so far from just eating slits of salad and one meal a day ...my doctor had a fit cuz I lost 18l pounds in less then 3 weejs well I lost 7 more pounds in 4 days ..I have doc appt tomorrow he's not going to be happy they don't know that I am eating less then 500 calories a day ..
This is being written by some one who was on the Fentanyl patch and the fentanyl lollipops/ sublingual tabs for advanced cancer. If you want to life in a Fent Fog. There are also new restrictions on driving whilst on this drug in the UK. I don't know about other countries.
If your not sure it's working then its not working. You either have pain or you don't.
Find out all you can about this drug and then decide if you want it in your life .
You are taking the equivalent of 70 of the 5 mg tabs every day, when the dose after major surgery would be on the order of 5-10 tablets per day.
The largest dose I've seen in a patient addicted to oxycodone is about 700 mg per day. Most people addicted to oxycodone in my practice were taking around 200-300 mg per day.
