Help me I had a skin culture done for Bacteria and it came back with

Now I have taken Augmentin xr for 2 wks along with Gentamicin ont no change in skin color still red and when water comes in contact gets redder! So doctor now has me on Augmention 875 and gentamicin cream the dosage is augumentin 2x day and gent cream 4x days !
Because I had been previously diagnosed (and treated with 1000mg Amoxicillin three times daily) with a sinus and left ear infection about a month earlier he suspected that I could possibly have some type of resistant sinusitus and prescribed Augmentin XR (1000 mg) 2 pills twice a day. I had oral sex again with the asymptomatic guy again on 4/11. I was informed by the guy who developed gonorrhea of all this today, 4/14, and have not had sex with him since before his symptoms began.

I used to take 300Mgs a day of Effexor XR for 4 years (before it pooped out on me)
Anyway there is something that you need to know about Effexor XR (Venlafaxine) that is that at or below the 150Mg dosage mark Effexor is simply just another SSRI and has no SNRI action.
With Effexor the Norephineperine mechanism of action does not take place unless the patient is taking at least 225Mgs a day. In most cases 300Mgs a day.
I test my own blood and adjust my dosage of warfarin. Usually I'm right in range 2.5 to 3.5 (2 art heart valves). About 6 to 8 weeks ago, I took augmentin for 10 days, 2 weeks ago, I took another antibiotic for 5 days. Since then, my PT/INR has been too low, 2.0. My diet and meds have stayed the same. I've been increasing my dose, yet it's still too low. Is it normal for this change? Please see my profile! Can it indicate my lupus activity?

Have you started tapering down your dosage per your doctor's instructions? Just make sure you are not adjusting dosage or quitting it without talking to your doctor first; just ensure you follow his/her instructions. Doing it on your own can cause many unpleasant symptoms that you would not really have to endure if you take it as prescribed.
It might be, it does seem a little light but it could clear a STD up if you had it. Best thing is always wait for tests. And I think this is why the Dr went light on the dosage.
I then took Effexor and later ther Effexor XR. Effexor XR allowed me to live a reasonably normal life raising a child and having a career. For at least 3 years my depression has slowly gotten progressively worse. My counselor and I believe it is time to add an additional medication, possibly welbutrin or change to a different antidepressant. Currently I take 300mg of effexor XR. There are a lot of variables to consider, including dosage, length of use, and other medications. There are those that experience these symptoms for weeks or months, and the only thing that appears to minimize them, is taking a "maintenance" dosage to prevent them. In this respect, effexor is much like heroin, it makes you feel better for a while, but when you try to stop you get sick, and have become dependent on it.
I'm suffering inflammation of the tonsils and taking now augmentin 1g (875mg amoxcillin + 125mg clavulanic acid). Also, i take some antiseptic and anti-inflammatory medication like bradoral 0.5 mg (domiphen bromide ). Also, I take a syrup for common cold and influenza (dosage teaspoonful 5ml which contains 160mg paracetamol, 1mg chlorpheniramine maleate, 15mg pseudoephedrine HCI, and 4.5mg dextromethorphan HBr).
I got really sick, and my doctor put me on the antiobiotic Augmentin XR(Amoxicillin clavulanic potassium). I am also taking some tylenol for fever. I was wondering if all these drugs are safe to take together. Specifically, will my potassium levels be altered to a dangerous point? I've heard ambiguities about birth control and antibiotics. I just want to make sure the mix of medication will not adversley affect anything.
I am a 30-year-old healthy female that started taking effexor xr in January. The dosage was raised to 150mg 2 months ago. I really haven't had any side affects. I went off birth control about a month ago, after taking it for 12 years and now I feel like my body is going crazy. I am having fluid seeping from one breast, head-aches that linger all day, I am exhausted even though I get plenty of sleep, I feel nauseous and dizzy often, and I am very emotional.
You may stick with the old plan for Xanax for the first week or so of the XR 150 alternate day dosage. If you observe no symptoms of discontinuation, you can reduce the Xanax to your new plan of 1/2 tab twice a day. The idea is to take care of any anxiety symptoms that might come up as you reduce Wellbutrin dose, as is commonly reported.

I am supposed to start taking pristiq 50mg. along with effexor xr 75mg for a week and then effexor xr 37.5mg along with the pristiq for a week, and then just pristiq. I am afraid, seeing how just being off effexor for 7 hrs. put me in E.R. The Doctor said pristiq won't do that if I miss or am late on a dose. He better be right.
