augmentin with paracetamol

thank you for your answer Cjegger. I'ts been two days, I still have the same diarrhea and the treatment should be until monday (the day I'll see my doctor). I'm really afraid about this antibiotic, but I know it's important to take it for 8 days. Do you think it's dangerous to keep with augmentin or should I stop it? It's already 4 days now with this really liquid diahrrea. thanks!

I'm suffering inflammation of the tonsils and taking now augmentin 1g (875mg amoxcillin + 125mg clavulanic acid). Also, i take some antiseptic and anti-inflammatory medication like bradoral 0.5 mg (domiphen bromide ). Also, I take a syrup for common cold and influenza (dosage teaspoonful 5ml which contains 160mg paracetamol, 1mg chlorpheniramine maleate, 15mg pseudoephedrine HCI, and 4.5mg dextromethorphan HBr).

Two weeks ago, Monday the 7th I went to the doctor with a sever sore throat and was giving Augmentin to take for 10 days (twice a day). My throat was really sore, I had a 103 degree fever, and thyroid glands were swollen. Ibuprofen and Acetaminophen didn't do much to relieve the pain. The rapid strep test said I did not have strep throat, but after looking at my throat a few times the doctor believed the test was wrong and gave me Augmentin.

First day fever was 101 but took paracetamol and fever got reduced to 99 but its been since then i have had 99 fever. I have done all kind of test CBC, Blood cultur, chest x- ray, MT test for tuberculosis,UTI all came normal. Fever is not responding to any of the medicines. i have had anitbiotics like augmentin 650 and ceftum 500 also along wid others. My doubt is 2 months back i had blood test for allergies in india.

My lung Doctor called me in some augmentin because I have been coughing up thick yellow mucus. I just don't know if I can take it on treatment. Does anyone know??

I was wondering if anyone else has taken Augmentin. I was prescribed it for a double ear infection. Originally I was given acetic acid drops but they aren't working. I plan on calling my OB in the morning to double check. They are pregnancy category B. Although they are thought to be safe not many studies have been done on them. I'm nervous about everything. Also, the infection has been treated with numerous antibiotics (amoxicillin, flagyl, omnicef, augmentin, clindamycin), and all seem to help at first, but only clindamycin has lasting effects. Not even augmentin worked. Any idea on what kind of bacteria would respond to clindamycin but not augmentin?

4 days on augmentin 825 for a chronic dental infection (now a bone infection), I started having major swelling in my hands. This is new, I've never had swelling like this. Yesterday my one hand looked freakishly red and swollen. It was so swollen, that when I straightened out my hand (which was difficult), everything turned white, inbetween the redness. Anyway, I tried going off the augmentin (I'm taking it in conjunction with clindamycin), and today I feel much less swollen.

my son 5 yrs. has a fever for more than 72 hours with headache and inflammed tonsils with dirreha.

t believe it has something to do with Augmentin but I definitely do! Now my both knees are tingling. I took Augmentin before but I had no problem with it! Now I am out of work and need to see an ortho md and blood works for rheumatoid arthritis , lymes disease, etc.

Scared I called my doctor, yet he told me that it is a side effect that is common with the high dose of augmentin I recieved. I finished the augmentin and I have no sore throat just thrush I recently started an anti fungal for it though. So I have some questions. 1.When someone contracts HIV are symptoms spread out like this? 2. Is 6 weeks too late to have symptoms of ARS? 3. Do you think that the thrush is medication related or HIV related, would it show up after 3 months?

the lightest drug is paracetamol but do not use it frequently and high dose, even paracetamol or aspirin can make cirrhosis on people without hbv if overused check your vitamin d level (new normal levels 50-90ng/ml) because it is low on all hbvers and can make bones pain and headheache plus viread lowers bone mineral density and calcium/vitamin levels shoould be checked and kept at optimal blood levels after i reached a vitamin level 30ng/ml i never experienced bone pians and headaches anymor

My Dr has treated me with Metronidazole- brand name used was flagyl Nylstatin for yeast, clamycin,spandnox (for yeast), and recently had some relief with Augmentin(which was prescribed for a chest infection). When i was on augmentin all the above symptoms went away however came back 1 or 2 days after i came off the anti biotic.

I really thought I felt better when I was getting the shots. The Rocephin interrupted the course of Augmentin, so I finished the Augmentin after the shots were complete. I think I finished the Augmentin on a Friday, and that Saturday I had virtually no symptoms at all. Sunday they returned and have been bothering since.

Hi Vance, thank you. I tested 2 days after symptoms, they are mild and I am quite sure it's not syphilis, but still burning a bit when peeing. That's why I would finish with Augmentin, do you agree? What problems could I have by taking Augmentin if I have no infections at all? Thanks.

Just need a neurologist`s expert opinion as to whether or not it is alright to take Augmentin with my myoclonic seizure condition. Do not want to start up any seizures. However, this UTI is hurting so badly!!! If It is too risky then I can`t take it!!!! Please help me. Because I had been previously diagnosed (and treated with 1000mg Amoxicillin three times daily) with a sinus and left ear infection about a month earlier he suspected that I could possibly have some type of resistant sinusitus and prescribed Augmentin XR (1000 mg) 2 pills twice a day. Hello ladies! I'm 10+6 and caught a terrible cold. my nose is blocked and all that can help me at the moment is the nasal spray Sudafed. My doctor said better not to use sudafed, but to take paracetamol instead. paracetamol doesn't unblock my nose though. what are your thoughts on this? have u some other advices? i'm miserable! :( Thank you!!
