I test my own blood and adjust my dosage of warfarin. Usually I'm right in range 2.5 to 3.5 (2 art heart valves). About 6 to 8 weeks ago, I took augmentin for 10 days, 2 weeks ago, I took another antibiotic for 5 days. Since then, my PT/INR has been too low, 2.0. My diet and meds have stayed the same. I've been increasing my dose, yet it's still too low. Is it normal for this change? Please see my profile! Can it indicate my lupus activity?
For 2 months now, I have had earaches, pain in upper teeth, pain in the jaw,pain in temple, pain along bridge of nose, pain under eye and above brow. I've had a full doseof augmentin and had exrays on upper teeth. I'm living on aleve or ibuprofen. Please help me.
I have gone to many doctors and they diagnosed me with a sinus infection/sinusitis. After taking augmentin I still felt horrible after a week and a half. I had a sinus x-ray done and the results cameback normal? No sinus infection? I am 14 years old and I am feeling so bad I'm getting behind on schoolwork and I'm tired all the time. I have lost 6 pounds since july or august and very skinny, my parents are afraid I am getting annorexic.

On new years night of this year I got completely way too intoxicated and had unprotected sex with a friend who says she is positive she has no STD's. She got tested before she went to college and was clean but we had sex after she had been at college for a semester. I was inside her for about 10 seconds before I realized either way it was stupid. I was fine until feb.12 I noticed tears in the skin in between my scrotum and thigh. I got a headache too no fever.
It might be, it does seem a little light but it could clear a STD up if you had it. Best thing is always wait for tests. And I think this is why the Dr went light on the dosage.
The problem is most likely due to excessive and chronic attack of sinusitis. Take a proper course of antibiotics like Augmentin. Take inhalational steam and anti allergics. If there is a deviated nasal sinus, get the surgical correction. All other symptoms and the troubles would be corrected simultaneously.
I'm suffering inflammation of the tonsils and taking now augmentin 1g (875mg amoxcillin + 125mg clavulanic acid). Also, i take some antiseptic and anti-inflammatory medication like bradoral 0.5 mg (domiphen bromide ). Also, I take a syrup for common cold and influenza (dosage teaspoonful 5ml which contains 160mg paracetamol, 1mg chlorpheniramine maleate, 15mg pseudoephedrine HCI, and 4.5mg dextromethorphan HBr).
I recently had sinusitis and the doctor put me on Z-Pac. The Z-Pac didn't work and he put me on Augmentin. I finished all my antibiotics 6 days ago. Yesterday I noticed that I had a little white dried skin at the tip of my penis and the area was red. Additionally I have a small red dot that is white in the middle around the same area. I don't feel any difference down there and the only reason I noticed was because I was washing myself in the shower.

The abscess continues to drain slowly and I have covered it with sterilized gauze. Please help.

My husband has had chronic sinusitis (it tends to occur sec. to colds/or exercise-induced asthma). Never drainage/congestion/fever. Only symptom is "pressure" mid-forehead & eyes. Saw a neurologist, had some sort of ear test yesterday - nothing so far - tried medication for myasthenia gravis - no help, if anything, made it a bit worse. I was wondering if anyone else has taken Augmentin. I was prescribed it for a double ear infection. Originally I was given acetic acid drops but they aren't working.
I plan on calling my OB in the morning to double check. They are pregnancy category B. Although they are thought to be safe not many studies have been done on them. I'm nervous about everything. This is my first pregnancy and I am only 18.
