I think that there are alot of options open to you besides birth contol pills or taking oral meds....like Brooke said almost all pills have such a risk of clots manifesting themselves especially if you have a family history of blood clots the % goes up for incidence. You may want to look at all other options out there for you besides taking "the pill" and i know there are many of them out there.

acetaminophen for the pain is OK. hemangiomas are not caused by oral contraceptives nor are cysts. adenomas and FNH lesions in the liver are. I had unprotected oral sex and deep kissing. it has been almost 9 weeks and a few mouth sores appeared in my mouth :(. The mouth sores appread 2 to 3 days after I started taking my medication. I read that augmentin does cause mouth sores. It's one of it's may side effects. But I am worried still.
I am 43 years old, I used oral contraceptives for more than 7 years. Now, I have this yellowish fluid discharges in my left breast nipple for about 4 years now. Does this fluid discharges have something to do with my prolonged used of oral contraceptives? Does this has something to do with "breast cancer"? If you have higher degree of damage, I would recommend avoiding all oral contraceptives. You are correct, they are hard on the liver and sometimes cause liver damage and elevated LFTs even in healthy women. Recommendation not to take them if you have liver disease is a very sensible one.
Try other methods of birth control that don't involve hormones. They do work and work well when used correctly.

Thank you Vance. One other question. If this was oral gonorrhea, wouldn't this clear up itself and would it spread to genitals and spread to others via normal sex (not oral)?

m kinda worried cuz I later got to find out that antibiotics affect the rate of effectiveness of oral contraceptives. Though after using the oral contraceptive I haven't used the antibiotic now for bout 24hours. Can I continue with the antibiotics? Would the postinor have worked? I need to be sure of whether I might need to take further actions and what actions please if that's the case.
However she warned me that continuous use of oral contraceptives without break is not at all safe and she advised me to stop them immediately. My oral surgeon would like to try me on clindamycin again, but my infectious disease doctor says the Augmentin should be fighting all of the bacteria. But it doesn't feel like it is at all, the infection has been getting worse for the past 3 or 4 days.
