did Atripla can delay the seroconversion since i took it during 11 days.
I started meds fairly soon after. I started Atripla in 2010. It got be undetectable quickly and has kept that way. I never had major bad side effects on it. I did have some crazy dreams and still do. After I was on it for a couple years, things began to slowly deteriorate. I began getting panic attacks, and bouts of tachycardia and palpitations. I had a history of those but it seemed to get worse.
PCR RNA at 56 days with a 5 days of Atripla in between. Could Atripla knock down primary viral load that much in 5 days to skew this test? Could it also extend my Elisa Window?
Now desipte who comes to your site or HIV anxiety run amuck does, I have no interest in making myself crazier than I am. I was not concerned that I had a sexual episode with a risky person at all. The symptoms just hit me like a ton of bricks 3 weeks after and I had to do something. So I was'nt looking for anything.
I am wondering what else would cause these perfect HIV symptoms? How long in the system does it take Atripla to work and start fighting down the HIV? How long before Antibodies are present when you have bad symptoms?
I would think you would have to have substantial antibodies to have extreme symptoms?

My husband was diagnosed in dec after a 5day stay in hospital discharged as neg but tild to call doc in 3days some blood work was not ready. Ehen we called they told him to go seea doc they started him on atripla. He is doing fine but he says he is neg the test r wrong. I don't want to sound stupid but since I am still neg I recently started to wonder if he is right.
What would be the danger of stopping taking ATRIPLA after 3 days? Would I be more suseptable to HIV in the future? Would I be resistant to antibiotics or anything else?
3. What irreversible side effects could occur from taking this medication for 30 days? I'm particularly (vainly) worried about the changes in body fat that can happen: "buffalo" back, loss of fat in arms, sunken cheeks. I'm also worried about the changed texture/appearance of the skin that can happen.
My partner was exposed to hiv during anal intercourse and is currently taking my Atripla. I am undetectable. Should we continue the Atripla or should he be on nPEP at all ??

He did not ejaculate inside me, however it was unprotected. Later today I saw in his cabinet the medication atripla which I found out is for the treatment of HIV. Good day all. I am taking atripla as pep. I am reading scary stuff that hiv could be resistant to are drugs. Is it possible that the hiv strain could be resistant to all 3 components of atripla rendering it useless? Two components are the same as truvada.
I opened the package to see what it was because he never takes medicine and I thought something was wrong. After some research I found out that Atripla is for treating HIV. He has been taking it for 5 months now (it said the original date on the rx). Needless to say I freaked out and about had a panic attack. I have not asked him about it yet, but I am going to. I am a para-medical PhD student, and I used embalmed cadavers for my research. Yesterday I was dissecting blood vessels in muscle tissues. The vessels did have semi-liquid blood inside them. while dissecting I pricked my finger with the scalpel which had some blood on it. The wound wasn't bad, but still bleeding a little. I squeezed some blood out and washed my finger.
I am not sure how well the cadaver is embalmed and I know it has not been screened.
I have a question that I have always wondered about Methadone, but never wanted to ask a Dr. LOL. I understand that it comes in pill form and liquid form. What is the difference between the prescribing of it? Such as, why would a Dr. prescribe you the pill form instead of the liquid form, or why would they prescribe the liquid instead of the pill? I understand Hydrocodone comes the same way.
