They've been really helpful. I already picked out the cake & decorations but We need a lil help. Like what kind of drinks should we have, games, food, etc. it's gonna be on April 19th, I'll be 37wks by then. Do ya'll think that's too risky ?
Avatar n tn Minor hepatic insufficiency responds not unfavorably to unadulterated dry white table wine. The tannin content and the mild antiseptic properties of wine make it valuable in the treatment of intestinal colic, mucous colitis, spastic constipation, diarrhea and many infectious diseases of the gastrointestinal tract.”—Wine as Food and Medicine, pp. 5, 58.
Avatar f tn Was diagnosed with post infectious IBS in April or May. Now have less diarrhea and bloating symptoms- but have right upper quadrant pain- dull, aching, radiates to back. Normal ultrasound of the area makes my gastroenterologist think it is a combo of a muscle strain and IBS. Do think it’s worse after having a glass of wine (1-2 times a week). Could this be a sign of something more serious? I think I had a similar issue years ago. Thank you for any input!
Avatar f tn So I had a couple of sips of wine mixed with Orange juice. Mainly Orange and like the SMALLEST amount of wine.... I got so buzzed lol. I had to stop drinking it, no matter how much I diluted it gave me a buzzed.
Avatar m tn hello moderators i asked a question earlier and would like the opinion of teak please Dear Doctor we are are in the south of france and i took my business associates to a restaurant where my friend works he brought the wine bottle and while removing (i don't know how to tell in english) is the aluminum cover using a knife he cut his finger . i noticed and no one else did i kept quite and went to the kitchen and saw that his cut was pretty deep.
Avatar f tn I will still be pregnant on my 21st birthday and I'm not drinking anything. My doctor says the red wine thing is a myth any alcohol during pregnancy is potentially dangerous.
Avatar f tn My doctor said i can have a glass of wine a week.
Avatar f tn While there are many varying opinions on this I will say to me it's not worth it. The CDC, Surgeon General, American College of Obstetrician's and American Academy of Pediatric all advise that women abstain from any and all alcohol use during pregnancy. This is because not enough is really known about the effects that even a small amount of alcohol can have on any stage of a developing fetus. Who really wants to sign up for that study right?
Avatar f tn I know this is a controversial topic but honestly I dont have anyone close to me who is pregnant so I just wanted to get some opinions. I have always liked wine and have heard people talk about drinking a glass of wine here and there during pregnancy. I'm 22 weeks and asked my doctor about having a glass but he said he's old fashioned and doesn't believe in that. From a medical standpoint I feel like he is saying that because of liability reasons.
Avatar f tn Yes I have a glass of red wine occassionally and know others that have also drank red wine during pregnancy. I think in your first and second trimester it's one glass if red wine every week and once you get closer to the third trimester it was one glass a day. I was a little doubtful about it at first but after doing a lot of research I found that a glass of red wine is fine, it also has benefits for you and the baby bc red wine clears up toxins in the body as well.
Avatar f tn A glass of wine is ok every now and then. A glass of wine every day wouldn't be advisable.
Avatar f tn I'm 17w and I was really wanting a glass of wine or sangria. I've heard that it is alright to have red wine and is good for the heart. Anyone hear that too?
Avatar f tn So before I herd it was ok to have a glass of wine, now they don't recommend it.. any thoughts?
Avatar f tn Tonight is date night and i would love a glass of wine, I've read one or two off and on are safe what do u ladies think about it?
Avatar f tn Does anyone have a glass of wine here and there or have drank wine previously with other children? Very curious i have been looking into and found mix feed back. Thank you.
Avatar f tn Has anyone experienced instant abdominal cramping for a couple of hours immediately after 1-2 sips of wine as an early pregnancy symptom? I have never experienced that and we are ttc.
Avatar f tn Personally, I think one glass of wine a day is far too many during pregnancy. No alcohol especially in your first trimester. But every now and then, I think is fine. I just wouldn't feel comfortable having a glass daily.
Avatar f tn However, with my 2nd (I prefer red wine) but she would get real gassy when I drank red wine but not when I drank white wine.
Avatar f tn Like I want to celebrate my birthday so I'm think I can have a little wine seance it's good for your heart and I'm not drinking to get trashed but Its not like a fish bowl cup it would be maybe a 1/2 of a cup or less what are s one thoughts on it
