I took an emergency contraceptive pill last Friday and I wasn't suppose to get my period until the 5th or 6th of November. But I had sexual intercourse yesterday and my partner noticed some blood but we didn't mind it that much. This morning I woke up and I was bleeding. I'm not exactly sure but I think I got my period. The whole point is, can it be possible for the contraceptive pill to cause a woman's period to come a week or two sooner?

This is my first month ever being on birth control and i'm on the 28-day pack pills called Apri. i started taking the last week the "reminder pills" 3 days ago and the way i understood it is that i'm supposed to get my period on the first day i took the reminder pills...could i be pregnant or is there something else wrong?

I made mistake of having frottage first time in life though I am still virgin but I do not want to get pregnant. The situation is i had last period starting on 3rd Apri if I am not wrong and I had frottage (genital rubbing without clothes) on 14 h April where i was extremly wet and my ex was not wet at all, he did went to washroom but did not do anything and came back which mean he didnot pre ejeculated neither he had anything on his penis.
Hi, I was on the pill Apri for a little over a yr. Had a laparoscopy and hysteroscopy for endo, a polyp and a cyst. After that I wanted to try for a baby. Anyways, I stopped my birth control the same day I had my surgery and I've never had a problem. I'm not sure about everyone but that was what happened to me. Everything was fine. So I had unprotected sex about 2 weeks ago and took the Plan B contraceptive therefore I started my period about 2-3 weeks earlier than usual. Towards the end of my period I had sex again and another accident happened. Should I be worried about pregnancy since I had my period earlier than usual? and should I take Plan B again to be safe?

yes of course, i-pill is an emergency contraceptive pill which is consumed to avoid unwanted pregnancy in case of unportected sexual intercourse. so to be sure of avoiding pregnancy you can definitely use i-pill. you are suppose to take i-pill within 72 hrs of intercourse for it to be of any effect.
We were scared that she might get pregnant due to precum. So she took a contraceptive pill (I-pill) within 48 hours. This is the first time she ever took a contraceptive pill. We had sex again a week after and used protection. The next day she started bleeding heavily accompanied by mild abdominal pain. She has had irregular period and we don't know weather this has something to do with sex or she has her period. Moreover she just had her period 3 weeks ago.
What is this contraceptive pill you keep taking? Is it a pill you're supposed to take every day, but for some reason you're only taking it when you have sex?
If that's the case, that it's a daily pill but you're only taking it every once in a while, it's not going to keep you from getting pregnant.
I took my first active pill the morning after the active finished and then that evening had unprotected sex but he pulled out before finishing, then the next day I took the emergency contraceptive pill within 24hours and continued taking my pill as per usual. If you've had unprotected sex and have taken an emergency contraceptive pill within 24 hours of unprotected sex, should you begin taking a birth control pill immediately? What if you haven't started taking the pill yet; should you still wait until you get your next period or will taking it asap help prevent a pregnancy?

you shouldn't be forced to have sex. if you're concerned about getting pregnant before you're married, either dont have sex, or use a condom. also, no contraceptive pill is 100% effective. the most is 99% and even then, multiple people get pregnant while on them. My mother got pregnant with me while she was on the pill. bottom line: if you dont want her to get pregnant before the wedding, use a condom or just dont do it. condom's dont feel much different than the real thing.
