all should call and see if you can get rates lowered they will do it for fear of loss, we did for credit cards, cable tv, the dentist , ( no more co-pays they want my family of 5 to stay) it works people for everything just call say how broke you are and youd be shcoked how readily folks will lower payments on many things.
I gather the term "charged off" refers to the Credit Card Company cancelling the use of your card so you could no longer use it, but you still had an outstanding amount owing on the card?
If that is the case, it is perfectly legal for any company that is owed money and has not recieved payment of same to "sell" the debt to a Debt Collection Agency.
My advice would be to enter into some form of payment arrangement to get the debt paid.

July 14, 08 i seen her again and she said the baby didnt have a heartbeat, she said i had a urinary tract infection. She send me for a second opinion, and the results were the same. Rather pay for it slowly on a no apr credit card and never needing it, then god forbid one day needing it and not having it. We live in a modern world and slowly they are finding more and more cures which can occur from the cord blood you leave behind. So lets say they have 50 cures now and you bank with viacord, in 10 years they can find even more cures and still youll be able to use that cord blood... we spend money on superficial things all the time... t.v.
On Apr 18 I went and got tested for hiv, 4th generation test which was non reactive. On Apr 20th I felt swollen lymph nodes on the left side of my neck, the are normally not palpable but they were small and seedy like. On apr 27, I started having random twitching everywhere in my body. on APR 30, I started having what felt like kidney pain. I went to the dr and he started me on abx for a possible uti.
I had my period on Apr. 9 up to Apr. 17 2016. My boyfriend and I had sex on Apr. 13 he didnt *** inside me. We had an online sex on Apr. 22 I fingered myself intensely and i havent cut my nails The next morning I saw a blood in my undies im scared because it might be implantation bleeding and right now I feel cramps. I'm having trouble understanding all this. I have bbeen on this site since Apr. Only thing ever addicted to is cigarettes. I hhave read all posts old and new. Simce been off Percocet my life has gone down hill drastically. I listened to every specialist take percs. Than had to move back to Ca take care of parents.
He developed dysuria for 1 day only around the week of Apr 27 and red eyes for a few days. Both cleared with no meds.
I developed mild dysuria on Apr 26. Had STD tests on Apr 27. Learned they were negative on Apr 30. Asked for a retest on May 1. Results were negative on May 4. Penis has discharge - light colored - after urinination / ejaculation for Apr 28 and 29. Discharge stopped completely on May 1 before any meds taken.
My last period was 12 apr till 23 apr. In the beginning of may i was feeling dizzy and wanted to vomit. I pee a lot for 3 or 4 days. My period was expected to come 10 may. But nothing. I did a preggers test,it was negative. 19 May i spotted some pink brownish blood. I thought maybe it was implemenation. So yesterday i did a test again. But still negative and no period. Am i preggers.
I have heard about this, and what a nightmare getting things straightened out. I remember when our credit card no. got cloned..that alone was a huge nightmare, but fortunately we were able to put an alert on our credit histories to watch for things. So far nothing else.
Have you heard about these so called parents stealing their kids identities and ruining their credit? I call them so called parents because they may have given birth, but the parenting part seems to elude them.
