Bank of America routinely denied qualified borrowers a chance to modify their loans to more affordable terms and paid cash bonuses to bank staffers for pushing homeowners into foreclosure, according to affidavits filed last week in a Massachusetts lawsuit.
Do you have a parent, or a grandparent or other relative or dear friend who could help you sort through your financial issues? I don't think a reputable bank would give you a loan for rent and a security deposit if you don't have any credit established, and don't have any money.

We were denied by a bank yesterday, hubbys boss is friends with our banker and called and talked to him and our banker agreed to give us a small loan. A loan big enough to cover a piece of property/house that hubbys friend is trying to sell. Its on 2 acres with a 3 bed 2 bath house fully remodeled on inside and a shop behind it.
Wow, what can I say????? How long has this been going on? U say she's not using the money, just showing it's there in the bank? I wonder for what reason. It probably wouldn't be a bad idea to get her some help. These people that she borrow's from are awful generious I would say. There must be an underlining problem as to WHY?? You hear of this with gamblers but just to show it's in the bank and not spend it???

I am still having trouble with finances. I got garnished for a past student loan that should have been on hold until I was off the disability list. I got garnished big time. Plus I have other money coming out. I am in debt up to my eyeballs. It is very stressful, but I sometimes just don't think about it, mainly because my pain and stuff takes over and I am worried about finding another doctor.
