I suggest that you go quickly to your Emergency/accident department and ask them either to rule out appendicitis - or else confirm it and carry out the necessary operation.
I am in my 19th week and got diagnosed with appendicitis 2 days ago. Did some labs and the results show I have inflammation going on. Am scheduled for an appendectomy and was told not to worry because precautions would be taken not hurt the baby. I was also informed that they would do some procedure to calm the baby down the night before the surgery. I am yet to know what kind of procedure it is they are talking about. My og/gyn is working with the surgeon on my case.
They will operate on you before bub is born or after. I doubt they'd want you to have a preterm bub AND an operation.
The reason I am research weight gain and appendix is because my daughter had appendicitis and the same thing happened to her. The reason I feel that the appendix works like a lymph node because I have primary lymphedema in my right leg and there is swelling. A lymph node in my leg might be damaged. I am also trying to research if there is something called abdominal lymphedema and that lymph nodes in the stomach were damaged during the operation.
That surgery they said was from adhesions from an appendicitis operation he had in the sixties. His bowels did not work so they operated again and said he had a twisted bowel that they massaged. Now one year later these past two weeks he has been constipated and then had stomach pain nausea, vomiting and diarrhea. Today he feels lots better but it worries me that now that his stomach is empty and he starts slowly introducing food he will just get sick again.

Well 2 years ago I had an appendicitis and i was operated to take it off.. Before that I rearly had any gas problems, but now after my operation, I started getting filled with gas.. Exactly 4 weeks later I developed appendicitis and had it removed via laparoscopic surgery, the surgeon said it was "messy in there". I have had no other symptoms suggestive of HIV.
My concern is the appendicitis was due to lymphoid hyperplasia (swollen lymph tissue) caused from a viral infection (HIV) given it occurred so soon after exposure.
It seems a bit out there to consider them related however I do see it as a possibility, but was unable to find any studies to confirm.

About a month or two ago, I believe I had strained some muscles while working out. The pain didn't happen right away maybe one or two weeks afterwards. At first it stemmed from my neck, shoulders, and upper back. Soon after I started to feel pain in my chest, both sides right by my armpits, lower back, and abdomen area especially on my right side. The pain is usually sharp. When I do sit for a long period of time, both my right and left sides hurt but more on my right.
Well, the doctor diagnosed it as an acute appendicitis and I was operated within a couple of weeks. Before that operation I did a chest x-ray,
after 25 days of exposure (you know sometimes that's necessary before an operation). In that report the impression was bronchitis. Now its been almost 10 weeks (69 days) since that single exposure. Now, I have a severe sore throat, fatigue and sometimes joint aches. The rashes on my glans are just gone. I cant find any.

I have contact nausea and slight unsteadiness. I have had a CT of my head and a ECG of my heart to rule out anything extremely serious.
At times the nausea gets soo bad i feel like i may faint.
Also the pains in my abdomen seem to get worse when i eat or after a night out drinking. Then the pain gets very sharp and spreads to the left side and lower left of the back, i get hit by a sudden feeling of weakness and have to lie down.
now i am developing the same pain again after about 20 hours, so i want to ask can it be appendicitis even if ultrasound doesnt show it? one of my friend got operated last month, she was having the same pain but ultrasound didnt show anything even then she got operated n now is fine!
30 am with bad stomach pain (top middle), bloating, and gas. I went the the ER about 6 hours later and received indigestion meds. I felt much better outside of mild abdominal discomfort from gas still. Now the next day my lower right stomach is pretty tender, nowhere else, just lower right side. Should I be worried about appendicitis? Could it be tender from extreme gas and bloating?
Thoughts?
Last night I started having a dull pain on the right side of my abdomen, across from my belly button, it went away today but came back around lunch time. It went away again and now at 2am it has come back. I pressed on my stomach a bit and it send a shooting pain through my belly button area. Its not SUPER painful, just more of a discomfort. I've also started urinating WAY more in the past hour and I'm not sure if its related but my knees began aching REALLY bad out of nowhere.
What was ur recovery like after the laparoscopy?
