If it is fluid in your ear, he may give you a prescription for an antihistamine, Meclizine, antibiotics if it is an infection, and possibly a water pill for the fluid. the diarrhea could be caused by a number of things. thanks for the reply, yes i googled that before messaging and the only one it shows is Seldane, because of the problem with this antihistamine and that it had been taking off the market (not a newer antihistamine), i wanted to know of any other antihistamines?

2nd question is after stopping the intake of antihistamine that effect the prostate, woiuld these be a short term effect and the prostate goes back to how it was?
Has anyone been prescribed meclizine .My family Dr said it may help with dizziness. I also called my NS and got my appt move up from Jan 21 to Jan 7 ,so hopefully I will get some answers sooner than later.
The meclizine is an antihistamine that may help you. Dizziness is often temporary, and a medicine like that can help you get through it. It may cause sleepiness. You can also take something like Advil for what sounds like body ache.
Truthfully, I do not what drugs I can take since I can have either no reaction, hives or swelling. Has anyone else had a problem like this? Any suggestions on how to deal with my allergies? I have many allergies but things have been fairly bearable until pollen season. Thanks.
My husband is recently dx after 3 years of being told he had Vertigo take Meclizine. He starts Refib next week and is hoping it will give some relief. Does anyone here have any experience with this drug and it helping reduce the Vertigo?

this will work. go to the drug store and buy meclizine tabs 25 mg and b6 vitamins. meclizine is an antihistamine used for motion sickness and b6 aides in nausea. this was dr. proscribed. it definitely takes the edge off. se days are better than others and i still throw.up every morning but afterwards i feel pretty good. let me know if you try it.

Does anyone know if Bonnine is the same as MeclIzine. My husband bought 25 mg Bonnine, he asked the drugest for Meclizine and that is what he gave him. I am going on 22 hours off the patch and don't know when I should take it.
Also I kept the patch on for 5 days before I took it off. I am praying that might have weaned me off a little before going off completely.

If you can't take Ambien then you probably won't want to try the other "z drugs" that are sedative hypnotics (The "Z" drugs: Sonata (zaleplon) & Lunesta (eszopiclone).

I am currently taking a sleeping pill called ambien, I also take hydrocodone,lexapo,lorazepam,sometimes meclizine if my stomach is nautious. So I began to take all my meds then I started on the ambien I took 1 at night now im taking sometimes 3-4-5 a day all through out the day and I dont understand why?
I'm scheduled to have a VNG on Tuesday at 3:15pm. I'm a migraine sufferer and I haven't gotten a clear answer from the audiologist about whether Effexor and Topamax will interfere with the results of the VNG. My neurologist has told me that I'm not allowed to stop those. I also have a question about muscle relaxers like Amrix and Zanaflex. I'm trying to go off of my meclazine and this morning has shown me that the next four days are going to be really rough.
