The pharmacist actually said all ithe combo of diflucan & xanax would do was increase the effect of xanax, Its a one dose pill & to be honest I didnt feel anymore sleepy from taking both. I do get frequent ear infections & sometimes 10 days of antibiotics do not rid it. I am not even sure its totally gone right now. Still feel pressure in my ears & a lil dizzy at times. But with the dizziness that could eb anxiety too. Sometimes its hard to tell.

I have been taking Alprazolam Xanax, .05 one nightly for two months now.. Want to get off of them.. I do not want to get addicted..I have never in my life taken any kind of medications other then antibiotics once in a while.. My age is 56 years..My Dr. put me on these for panic attacks.. I would rather try and control my attacks on my own, without the meds..How should I taper off of these so I won't experience seizures..Thanks so much for any input..

So my doctor put me on only two pills of z-pack, instantly I had an 2 hr panic attack and my mom gave me a blue xanax. That was not last Wednesday but the Wednesday before. I've had attacks before always do to some kind of substance in my body so I knew it was a panic attack. At 27 id say I rarely had anxiety problems but thought maybe I was overreacting. Next morning I woke up at 5am heart a pounding. My mom came over quick so my wife and child could sleep. We had all been sick.

I am prescribed xanax for anxiety (recently for anxiety and panic attacks) and I got doxycycline hyclate for a sinus infection yesterday from a small clinic. I completely forgot to ask if there was an interaction between these two drugs. I may not even have to take the xanax, only if I have a panic attack will I. I was on Xanax for four years, low-dose (between .25 and 1.25mg/day) but steady, for insomnia. Thanks. I stopped taking the Xanax a little over a week ago. My symptoms haven't gotten any better but they also haven't gotten worse, so maybe it really is something else and the benzo was simply sedating me and thus making it seem less severe. My fears are starting to drift toward something neurological, but it takes time to shake loose from Xanax so I'll try to keep calm and wait a little longer.

I have went to the ER before and they told me I was completely normal and it was just me having a panic attack. i hate taking antibiotics too, it messes with my whole system and it causes all kinds of problems like chronic yeast infections. a week ago started having UTI symptoms so I took a antibiotic for only 2 days instead of a week and then I took d-mannose (powder form) every couple hours everyday for a few days, to flush out any bad bacteria that was left in my bladder. it worked very well, the UTI symptoms are gone.

I had no tolerance when i took them that night.(the last time i used xanax was 1 week before that time, with no other recent xanax use, only a few months back. I find it very hard to form sentences and use certain terms i had no trouble using before.I can't think, i can't study, i can't do anything,i feel there is a blockage in my brain. Could this be permanent? Could it permanently cripple my cognitive patterns?

I did not recover until mid October. Started Antibiotic on Sept. 3 for three weeks. Doctor put me on xanax October 1 and started me on prozac because he thought it was all in my head and since I was done with my antibiotics I should of been feeling better. WELL let me tell you that is when everything went down hill for about 10 days when I was prescribed 3 xanax per day, sleeping pill at night, and prozac. I thought I was going to die.

Does anyone else, along with other symptoms, have chills and sweating? Along with extremely bad shaking and dizziness, fatigue, abdominal spasms today, I have gotten bad chills. I have reflux and huge amounts of painful gas on my left side. I have lost so much weight that I feel weak but it's so hard to eat because of pain and difficulty breathing. If I could just rest and get a good night's sleep, I know that would help. I am on Xanax and it only helps minimally.

I have only taken Xanax .25 once a day for eight days. I want to quit taking it, can I just stop or shall I wean myself off only after that short time. I did not take a pill yesterday and felt fine, today I did not take one and feel a bit shakey.

There are other benzos that work just as well as Xanax but some of them have to build up in your body first, whereas Xanax works the first time you take it. I think a discussion with your doctor would be good at this point.

I have been taking xanax for many years, it started with very low dosages and sometimes I would break it in half and take half in the morning and then other half on the way home from work, but now I am on 2mg.

I was wondering if anyone has had any heart rhythm problems attributed to antibiotics. I have pvcs/pacs, all tests, ekg, echo has come back completely normal. Im just worried about taking a new medication,, afraid it may cause the palpitations to be worse, better yet cause a dangerous arrythmia!! Any advice would be great!!

What antibiotics are you taking? Did your dr prescribe these antibiotics for bronchitis knowing that you are pregnant?

My anxiety is way too high to start taking these antibiotics! "Not recommended for pregnant women unless benefits outweigh the risks" is not good enough for me! The doctor asked if I was on birth control when I went in (ER) -.- , im 28 weeks & seriously do not want anything risking my babies health :( the pills are Apo-Cephalex 500mg. My ingrown toenail keeps getting worse as Im unable to clean it on a regular basis or let it breathe at all.

Omgness this is killing me im on these antibiotics and they make me throw up im on fire (my house is at 68 degrees) but im buring up i feel so freaking sick these are miserable! I eat and feel okay for maybe 20 min then im sick as a dog again.

Definitely take the antibiotics. Uti is something that needs antibiotics to cure and if it goes untreated then can develop into a kidney problem which in some cases can cause early labour. Much safer to take the meds. I've been on the same antibiotics twice during this pregnancy and am now 36+ weeks and baby is perfectly healthy.

I got bit by a dog on my leg and the bite wasn't to bad but it did break skin so I got put on antibiotics for 10 days and I'm nervous that it's not ok to take. But Iv been taking the recommended dose for like 3 days now. I'm 19 weeks pregnant now.
