I don't think they have antibiotics in liquid form only supplement and vitamins. I believe if it is a fluid they have to give it thru an I'V.
Only if the antibiotics have been prescribed by your doctor. There are safe antibiotics for pregnancy but you should only be taking them if the doctor has given them to you.
I was wondering if anyone has had any heart rhythm problems attributed to antibiotics. I have pvcs/pacs, all tests, ekg, echo has come back completely normal. Im just worried about taking a new medication,, afraid it may cause the palpitations to be worse, better yet cause a dangerous arrythmia!! Any advice would be great!!

We stay sick for at least 3 weeks despite taking antibiotics prescribed by doctors. Then we stay healthy for only 1 week and then my son gets sick again from teh same thing and again he passes it to me adn again we stay sick for 3 weeks, adn this has been happening now for 4-5 times. plese help. thank you.
I do not mind antibiotics, but I would prefer home remedies if possible.. antibiotics always gives me the yeasty beasties... and I would not want that, but it steadier to bare than a son is infection for me.
After doing some research, I learned that amoxicillin depletes certain vitamins from the body, like Vitamins B1, B2, B3, B6, B12, K, biotin, inositol, calcium, magnesium, and iron as well as vital gut bacteria, like lactobacillus acidophilus and Bifidobacteria bifidum (bifidus). So I started to take supplements of these and the anxiety went away. I also bought a blood pressure monitor, to monitor it. It started off high, but gradually went to more normal levels.

Actually antibiotics do have an indirect effect on the brain. Antibiotics do not discriminate between beneficial bacteria (probiotics) and harmful organisms. Then there's the issue of some people just having bad reactions to a particular medication.

n the past 3-4 weeks I was given different antibiotics (cetriaxone, Azithromycin, Doxcycline, Bactrim and desoximetasone cream) for a urethritis. I had a burning sensation in my urethra, however no discharge. Tests for chlamydia/gonorrhea were both negative.

every time i go to the doctor they just prescribe antibiotics and dont give me any answers.I have tried exercising more and multi vitamins,but this is not improving my situation.I only seem to get over a flu when i get another dose.I also had a bout where my taste buds and sense of smell went crazy.
Meaning I spent 4 days in hospital and 2 weeks on over 2000mg of antibiotics a day and it can hurt bub when it gets to that stage. Dont rest with vitamins and juices. Get treated by a doc so it doesnt get worse.
Some people have pretty strong reactions to antibiotics, especially those who don't take them much. I doubt it would lessen the effects of Prozac, but antibiotics kill of the beneficial bacteria that populate the intestinal tract, which are not only responsible for part of our immune systems but also manufacture some of our B vitamins, which definitely do affect the nervous system.
