I don't think they have antibiotics in liquid form only supplement and vitamins. I believe if it is a fluid they have to give it thru an I'V.

t expecting this, I drank alcohol last weekend and the weekend before, and now on antibiotics. I am 37 and i know its crucial to take folic acid and prenatals. I know I am high risk because of my age. Anyone come across this?

I was put on potassium pills because of my heart and that was the only thing low when I had a minor heartattack. I have noticed that when I take the potassium pills I am more energetic all day long. If I try to take a multivitimin then it makes me sick or makes my heart race. I wish I could find one that I could take.

Rule of thumb is to always take your synthroid apart from any other meds or vitamins by at least a couple of hours. With the exception of Iron and calcium which need to be taken 4 hours apart.

HOWEVER that was a knowing decision and not a kneejerk reaction by this doc to work on supplements and vitamins. I would want to know what your Dr Supplement has planned for starting you on antibiotics -- how soon and what ones. If all you're getting is 'here take these vitamins' and he won't discuss anything further, I'd be concerned.

Thanks for the comment, he's defo moving ha.. Being sick when pregnant is horrible especially sinus infections because your hole head and face are in agony plus the antibiotics make you nausas.

I've used both (I'm on daily probiotics and just recently was on antibiotics for pneumonia) and didn't really have many issues. The antibiotics gave me worse diarrhea but it clears up after time - nothing in regards to adverse effects being used together. In reality anything can have an adverse affect with any medication. Even just taking OTC pain meds. All things are given on a risk/benefits scale, and he seems to think this one will work best for you.

None have worked for me, but I still take it all in case it's keeping me from being even worse off! I even did b12 shots. Nothin'. I eventually got terrible nerve pain in addition to joint and muscle pain and have to go to pain doctor. Cymbalta stopped restless legs and also take a prescription nsaid and opioids. Addiction isn't a problem and all the headlines and new laws are political and powered by drug companies. I also get epidurals. Some back disk damage too, not from EBV.

I have not started any prenatal vitamins, is it foolish to start prenatal vitamins along with the Levaquin or should I have been taking these a few months beforehand?

We stay sick for at least 3 weeks despite taking antibiotics prescribed by doctors. Then we stay healthy for only 1 week and then my son gets sick again from teh same thing and again he passes it to me adn again we stay sick for 3 weeks, adn this has been happening now for 4-5 times. plese help. thank you.

During my last IVF I was on antibiotics, but I got a terrible infection and got a fever and had to be switched to even stronger antibiotics. I was in horrible pain, plus I was mildly hyperstimulatated, so I'm REALLY nervous about my upcoming retrieval which should be later this week. I'm trying to stay optimistic and hoping that it will go smoother, but I'm nervous. Do any of you take additional vitamins or herbs on top of your prenatal before your retrieval?

Or is it still probably anxiety from depleted B vitamins and gut organisms. And would anxiety cause symptoms like chest pain, left arm pain and weird breathing? I'm just worried, because when I look up those 3 symptoms in particular, everything points to them being a heart attack symptom.

actually we have no treatments for canker sores or anything to prevent them. at this point if this isn't healing up after all this time, you need to start looking at non-infectious causes. cinnamon chewing gum and toothpastes and such can cause these. the whitening, tartar control and "complete" , "total" toothpastes can too. So can tooth whitening strips. "bold" flavored toothpastes and chewing gums of all flavors can too.

I happened to wait. But in between time I was taking other antibiotics like I said earlier and soaking your genitals in epsom salt is really effective. Soothes burning sensation when peeing and clears up your urethra a little. But I got the antibiotics and I don’t feel anymore symptoms. No sex for the next 7 days and I’m good to go. So, this all started with a yeast infection. I had some pretty typical symptoms, went to the doc, who diagnosed by my description of symptoms. Did a urine test for STDs (chlamydia, gonnehrea) all negative. He prescribed Diflucan and gave me 2 pills. I took the first one and the symptoms got a lot better. I would say go and see a GI and get labs done and a colonoscopy done sound like Celiac's or Crohn's to me. My mom has celiac's and i may have crohn's im going for a colonoscopy on the 14th to see if i do. my mom had blood work done and endoscopy done its a byopsy of the top part of the intestines to see if the vili are smoothing out and thats what cause the lack of absorbsion of vit and min. please have him checked for these 2 things please and good luck.

My question is, couldn’t all of these vitamins and minerals and supplements,antibiotics, anesthesia all have caused a spike in my liver enzymes which were normal in July 2018? I don’t drink at all, eat well, lots of fruits and veggies, no fast food, etc. had negative hep C test earlier this year.
