Avatar f tn So this is the third time I'm being treated for a uti and it feels so much worse my lower back on the right side hurts like crazy is this normal? And now my ribs hurt I didn't feel him kick which doesn't mean he didn't but they are really sore in the right side also can they kick the ribs and bruise them without me feeling until after? I will 27 weeks in two days!
Avatar f tn They also give you pills that help until the antibiotics kick in with the pain/burning. They turn your urine a funny color orange but definitely help with the discomfort. so, see a doctor asap. Either first thing tomorrow at your regular doctor/ob/gyn or at an urgent care today.
Avatar f tn I had my first hospital app with a midwife today and i guess its now starting to kick in and im really scared and nervous im 27 weeks in two days and i dont know how to feel anymore im also young will be 18 in november due two weeks after birthday im just all over the place i pretend im not to my partner:( can anyone tell me how us ladies get through this hard reality part
Avatar f tn I did a round of cipro last summer which was not the right drug for the bacteria I was growing with my UTI. I did several months of antibiotics, trying to kick it until it finally won and I ended up in the hospital last fall with sepsis. The uti had ascended into my kidneys and went for a free ride into my blood stream. It is tiring trying to get it cleared but absolutely essential. These infections can be a real bugger to kick.

Avatar f tn I ended up going to the emergency room because of this and they’re sending me to another urologist in two days and put me on naproxen (which doesn’t kick in to help until five hours later). And now I’m left feeling frustrated and loss of all hope.
Avatar n tn Omg I thought I was the only one felt like this @nicolechavez its my 5th pregnancy also I felt like u were describing me lol a lot of new things also and the kicks are so hard to my private I feel like he or she might kick its way out I already feel elbows and fingers I love it but it hurts a lot sometimes lol
87651 tn?1259602403 I was on tons of antibiotics (2000 mg of augmentin!) for my sinus infections several times in the first year and a half following my TT. It didn't seem to affect my thyroid levels in the least. But, I took the antibiotics about an hour after my Synthroid. Hope you feel better.
Avatar m tn Thank you for your reply. I know I have anticipated the worst case, but my insurance will not go into effect until July 1. I have been here at work all year and they have a 6 month waiting period. Fair enough. I'm resonably healthy and have lost 100 lbs in the last year and a half. I eat as healthy as a can and I am religious about getting to the gym everyday. If this is serious I would like to go to the Dr.
Avatar m tn The other two ways are by taking another drug -- Methadone or Suboxone --- Better do some research first though --- All reports we have heard on this site on Methadone tell of it being harder than almost any other drug to kick -- Suboxone comes in a close second ---- I personally used Suboxone and the W/D's lasted almost two months. I would have personally be much better off to taper and then jump off my DOC, Oxycontin.
6870784 tn?1394813026 i always have AZO on hand...over the counter to numb the urinary tract til antibiotics kick in....even have them on hand as my doc knows i know when i get one. Better to check all out...i did with a urologist as well and the cystocope was very doable. I was more worried about that and was done in no time.
518733 tn?1333017015 Kflex is safe- two antibiotics to AVOID in pregnancy would be- deoxycycline (spell?) or tetracycline, which are known to have risks. Otherwise- if the dr prescribing the antibiotics isn't your OB be sure to let your OB know that you were prescribed a new medication, they may have their own preference of what you should and should not take- and always ask the pharmacist if you are unsure about any medication..
Avatar n tn Some antibiotics are fine to take and others aren't. I know amoxicilin(not sure about spelling) is fine. Have you tried looking those medications up online?
Avatar m tn I would take him to the ER if this continues and the antibiotics do not kick in, a high fever for a long period is not good.
Avatar f tn U need antibiotics before going into labor, as it usually can grow in the birth canal. But once antibiotics kick in the birth canal becomes sterile so a is good. Dont worry and do not search google. I did and big mistake.
519661 tn?1264516208 ) dani, in my first pregnancy, i felt my son kick around 20 wks. it was out of the blue...i had felt "butterfly" twinges around 15-16 wks, but i will never forget the day i really felt him kick!! :) and from that point on he never stopped!! lol keep us updated on how both your scans go!!
Avatar f tn wondered if u also get yeast infections...antibiotics can cause a flare up of a yeast infection...so do ask for DIFLUCAN to help prevent that issue altogether. Speaking with a Pharmacist may be the best help in knowing what meds would be best for u with the H.Pylori...it can be resistant to antibiotics...and can require a second round. Then, the antibiotics can kill off all teh good bacteria u need, so ask ur dr about taking a probiotic afterward.
Avatar n tn You have Tonsilitis or Strep Throat ... You would need antibiotics to kick out all infection....
Avatar n tn Your dentist should never have worked on an infected tooth, as soon as he saw the pus he should have put you on antibiotics. I would definitely kick this guy to the curb and find another. For now call this dentist and tell him what's going on and ask him to prescribe antibiotics or call your doctor...don't let this linger. Take care.
Avatar f tn I can't wait to figure out what way he really is hanging out in there, because from time to time, he gets rough. When do they start trying to figure out how much he/she weighs and everything? I am 31 weeks tomorrow, and feel like I haven't seen my doctor since the 24th week. I know the appointments pick up later, but I am impatient.
