I agree with AnnieBrooke - you need to be seen by a different doctor! And preferably an ear, nose and throat doc! When you have a throat so sore that you can barely swallow, can't eat at all and have ulcers on your tonsils, SOMETHING definitely needs to be done! Did your doc even bother to do a strep test or anything? Strep throat can also cause ulcers in the throat and mouth and strep is definitely something that neeeds to be treated with antibiotics.
was discharging from my penus my doctor put me on antibiotic tetracycline hcl 500mg for 7 days was ok then i started discharging again . he then put me on amoxi/clavu pt875mg augmentin for 10 days . after i would say 5days started noticing a few red pimples on my foreskin of my penus not the head . i am not circumsized . noticed when in the shower the tip of the pimple got white and the skin peeled off and are a few small skin craters with a little liquid ozzing out .

He gave me massive dosage of antibiotics which were not help ful: one ulcer were gone, another 2 appeared.
I changed my doctor and went to a dermatologist.

I had a very odd illness about a week after a possible exposure risk. I've never been sick like that before. I had all the symptoms of acute infection except no ulcers. Part of the illness included an infection in the throat. The infection was cleared up with antibiotics but i was still very tired for a few weeks.
Could this have been acute infection? Do people ever get sore throat that clear up with antibiotics during the window period?
Thank you - I took the antibiotics, but they didn't work. I am now on a waiting list for a special MRI. I have been waiting since October, 2012.
He said that it did not look like a typical herpes outbreak and was not sure what it could have been. I had been to my regular doctor as soon as I got a fever and had been on antibiotics for 5 days already. I was tested for everything under the sun and all the tests came back negative. I have not had any problem like this since (although 3 weeks later I had a yeast infection. Not sure if the two are related.) Has anyone ever had anything like this?
I have been taking Aciphex for a couple years with good results. However I recently had a sinus infection and took Amoxicillin for 7 days. Here it is, 2 weeks after stopping the Amoxicillin, I am having severe heartburn again. Did the antibiotic have anything to do with this?
I used to get apthous ulcers in my mouth but I have never heard of apthous ulcers inside urethra. They look similar to apthous ulcers which I guess is as both are on mucosal surface.
Is this herpes? I went today to get my blood and urine tested for STDs. I never had STD before. I am worried what could it be and if herpes, I hear its life long. No cure. It recurs. So that means I will pass it to my partner or else I have to always wear condoms even with my partner.

Just about every time I have sex there is a burning sensation and then a day or two later I develop small white patches near the opening of my vagina that turn to ulcers. I had both a blood and swab test for herpes and it came back negative. I've also been treated with oral antibiotics for BV and Strep b yet the problem has persisted.
m not sure if the spots on the back of my throat are attributed to mild acid reflux, stress, antibiotics (I was taking Clindamycin vaginally for BV during the week i slept with the guy), or oral gonorrhea, or ARS.

Only HSV-1 came back positive (31 COI), which i have been having oral ulcers with for many years. Everything else came back positive.
Initial treatment was 1g Azithromycin, followed the week after by 7 days Doxyczyline and then again with a longer Azithromycin course for two weeks. None had any impact.
I cannot take Penicilins or Fluoroquinolones due to prior negative reactions.
I have no idea what else to do, neither does my urologist give me the impression he does.

How common is it 2 years after possible exposure of HIV for to get tonsillitous 3 times a year and re occuring mouth ulcers in your mouth, sometimes a furry feeling in your mouth and also a bad taste. Give a little from the capsule twice a day,very little.Each human capsule should last 2 days with a cat. google the antibiotics you have and put it in like this. CLindimycin for cats.
Please keep us updated on your progress because it has been my understanding for many years that any and all antibiotics are not good for healthy guys. And should only be taken if your life is in jeopardy.
I believe someone had posted a while back that since they were taking antibiotics ( can't remember why )
They planned on taking probiotics immediately after the round of antibiotics were taken - in order to replenish the gut with good flora/ bacteria.
