No it can't be trusted and it's not a diagnostic test. You are not a neonate and when used on neonates born to infected mothers it is not the only test used to diagnose HIV.

Dear blondie12, The chatter like movements that you describe is known as “jitteriness”. Neonates have an immature nervous system which gradually develops as they grow. This might cause jittery movements in some infants for the first several weeks of birth. If it is present occasionally since birth and your infant is otherwise healthy/active, I do not think this is something serious. However, jitteriness can also be caused by some metabolic conditions such as calcium insufficiency.

RBCs should be "anucleated" as in "without a nucleus." Nucleated RBCs are abnormal in a peripheral blood smear beyond neonates. If Red Blood Cells in a peripheral blood smear show up nucleated you need to have this investigated by a hematologist/oncologist. Nucleated RBCs are very immature RBCs that should not be seen outside to bone marrow and may be a marker of significant disease.

The combination of cefixime and azithromycin would most probably prevent infection but it would not be curative if the infection was established.

Hello, i am now concerned, I was perscribed penicillin for strep throat on monday (the day of my urine test) and have been taking it all week, (i got another urine test on Thursday) they both came out negative for gonorrhea and chlamydia after unprotected vaginal sex a week ago i am now concerned because i have read on here that taking an antibiotic can mask the test and cause false negatives?? is this true?? thanks!
