angiogram

Avatar n tn Even if your insurance doe not cover it, it would be wise to get a duplex ultrasound (dopplar) or angiogram since it has been 2 years. The only risk is of disease progression and strokes. Take care!
Avatar f tn t start till June I can go to class next quarter Yahoo. Even if USC changes my mind about who does it I can still push it off till summer. I can't stay home I just can't.
Avatar f tn I walked to the library without stopping and back (with a bathroom break and grabbed a couple of books inbetween) with the walker. I wasn't able to do it without stopping a lot 2 weeks ago. Yahoo. Oh and I started PT exercises on Thursday. It went well. I'm still working on getting off the walker.
Avatar n tn Thanks for the input, I'll ask to be referred to a neuroophthalmologist. I can't hurt.......I don't know about the MS.....it's been in the back of my mind for awhile. They know I have SLE, because I have developed antiphospolipid syndrome as one of the problems. I guess I just didn't want to think about having MS AND Lupus, but Retinitis pigmentosa isn't a much better option. I'm having a flurocene angiogram on Thursday......keep you posted.
5154541 tn?1366808691 So I usually ask yahoo answers for help...which this time I was not thankful for. I needed help with this one question that I CAN'T find in my textbook. I got to responses saying I was lying, that I won't succeed in life, that I'm pathetic for asking a homework question like this. I feel terrible and now can't even study because of what they said...can someone just...idk cheer me up? I try so hard in college and now I'm so stressed with finals I can't take it anymore.

Avatar n tn People online have said it can cause brain damage but is this only possible through intentional huffing? People on yahoo answers were apparently trolling me and telling me i had damaged myself, which i think is horrible since i'm suffering from severe anxiety.
Avatar f tn Towards the end of the test, I had heart attack symptoms ( which resolved with 3 squirts of nitro) and was sent to the hosp for an angiogram. Results of the angiogram were good , except for a 25% occlusion in a distal aeortic vessel on the back of my heart down by the apex. The Dr. said that my heart had "spasmed" during the stress test. I had never had a problem with the treadmill test. With the med stress echo, my heart was beating faster than I think it ever has....
1213000 tn?1280463161 On May 19, after a MRI stress test was abnormal and an angiogram showed diffuse restonosis of the LAD stents, I underwent CABG (4X). 10 weeks later, another abnormal MRI stress test and on 30 July another angiogram. the results of thst angiogram was, all stents are now closed, all grafts are open but there is flow irregularities that may be caused by size mismatch between the vein grafts and the native arteries. This is being treated with Metprolol 25 mg and Diltiazem 120.
Avatar m tn The tests indicated a blockage. I am now waiting for an angiogram. They put me on drugs after the test. I am on 1.25mg Monocor, 5mg Norvasc, 10mg Crestor as well as ASA 81mg - one per day. Now I wait for Angiogram. I am quite freaked out. So I am scheduled for an angiogram on Feb 5th. They tell me there are risks in this test. The risk is 1 in 1000 people die, stroke or have a heart attack during this proceedure. My question is this, Should I get a 64-slice Coronary CT Angiography?
Avatar m tn There are angiogram tests that inject a dye substance in the blood stream and the perfusion can be monitored by CT scan, cath, MRI. I had a CT scan a couple of years ago, and the report of the results commented on the blood flow through the implanted stent was as expected. Blood flow through the harvested grafts can be assessed as with any other vessel. Hope this answers your question. If you have any other questions or comments you are welcome to respond.
Avatar f tn Best answer is very useful if you have a bunch of kids participating, like with Yahoo Answers - but even then they'll just rate the ones they find funny.

Avatar f tn Mild MR, EF 62%. This was followed up by an Angiogram and the report said: Left ventricular angiography reveals normal regional wall motion. The ejection fraction was 70%. the left ventricular end-diastolic pressure was mildly elevated at 17mmhg. there was no gradient on LVAL pullback and no mitral regurgitation was seen with the ventricular angiogram. What does this mean?
Avatar f tn I just had an angiogram on 9/2/16. I relate with some of you. I have a small hard hematoma, the size of a marble, and it has been bothering me. I get pain in my calf, front part of leg, and part of the buttocks. I am in pain and used ice to help. I will be calling my doctor Minday and see if I can get an ultra sound. I was told that after 5 days I ca go back to normal and it has not happen yet. I hope everyone who posted before me has had full recovery.
Avatar m tn An epiretinal membrane can be stable. if on Floureseine angiogram there is leakage then the retina will deteriorate over time. The vision will slowly deteriorate if scar tissue is causing a tractional retinal detachment of the macular. Dr. O.
Avatar n tn but it was answers . yahoo . com where the stars are, typed without spaces..
Avatar n tn I'm having a CT angiogram Thursday. It avoids an interventional procedure that has some risk. X-ray exposture presents some risk for cancer, but my non-interventional cardiologist feels a CT angiogram is sufficient and I'm not disputing his recommendation. I had a cath angiogram and a stent 4 years ago, there was no problem as I was in a hospital setting for 3-4 days. However, some people experience a bleeding problem at the site of the cath insertion and pain that lasts several days.
Avatar m tn im just worried because i read on yahoo answers it is possible if the blood on ciggratte contacts the lips which has a cut or sore?
Avatar f tn The kinds that take your breath away. Wave after wave. I am having an angiogram on Monday just to make sure it I'd ok. Well at least today the hot flashes are better. That's something. My legs are acting more weird today. Having to really push to lift them. My symptoms are definately worsening. Really hope this MRI tomorrow shows something. So tired of the chiari runaround. It will be 3 years in May that I have been looking for answers.

Avatar m tn Yahoo Answers is primarily made up of pre-pubescent girls and has about the scholarly value of a magic 8-ball. 3 months is conclusive.
