angiogram of fistula

They found a 4mm carotid aneurysm in my scan last week. I am to get a CT Angiogram Wed and then see the neurosurgeon in August. I am on coumadin due to a blood clot in my sagittal sinus (reason why they found the aneurysm) from 2009. Was just wondering if someone has been through this process before and what I need to expect.

My symptoms before this angiogram were chest pain with exertion of any kind. After this angiogram, I have had blood pressure problems, breathing problems, dry cough, shortness of breath and all the other symptoms that my cardiologist wanted me to do an angiogram for. He had said that if I needed an other stent put in. I would need a bypass even though I have small vessels.

After complaining of pulsatile tinnitus, extreme headaches, blurred vission, red eye...I had MRA..MRI with and w/out contrast...carotid ultrasound...ct scans ... and an angiogram that led to 8 coils embolization to left jugular vein on April 23rd. The headaches remained and stronger than ever...the eye redness and vission gotten worst day by day and having blackout episodes I went to the ophtalmologyst were they found papilledema and diagnosed me with Pseudotumor cerebri...

A repeat iliac angiogram revealed no bleeding. There was a small residual AV fistula. There was a clot in the iliac sealing the site of the retroperitoneal bleed. They thought it wise to compass the clot with a iliac stent. I went in for a ultrasound week ago, doctor is saying that I need surgery for stitches inside there,something is not healing. I ask was it bleeding insde he said no. Please help me I am scare. I have problems with chest pressure at times. I am on plavix 75mg.

Had angiograms to the brain Jan 13 & Feb 16 for embolism of fistula. Still dizzy. Does the dizzyness ever go away? How can I make it go away?

I did have a general MRI but the audiologist that is getting the ball rolling for me didn't like the quality or accuracy of them and is scheduling me for more and a clinic in 3 months. Am I going crazy, if I close one eye I still see more than one and it doesn't matter which eye I close. I forgot to mention that I went blind initially for at least 20 minutes during one of the falls.

The only association I have ever heard of with air plus urethra is in the case of a fistula from the anus to the bladder - intestinal gas comes from the anus through the fistula into the bladder, and thus you pass gas out of the penis. Doesn't sound exactly like what you're describing, but I wonder if there's some sort of reverse flow where air is getting sucked into your urethra and goes into your anal canal.

He recently had a minor heart attack and before doing an angiogram(which turned out fine except for two small blocked veins) the hospital put a port in his neck for possible dialysis. I am at my wits end because, for some reason he's not had any dialysis and I'm not sure why, and I don't believe we're getting enough information from the doctors. He feels terrible, weak, depressed, and miserable all the time and is unable to do much except sit in his chair.

They have never found any evidence on MRI for anything, other than about 12 years ago, they thought maybe I had TM b/c of something they thought they saw on T-spine MRI.

Dear Jim the classic management of an intestinal fistula is to divert the bowel with an ileostomy to allow healing of the site. With the fistula being so high in the small intestine , that is not feasible because she would not be able to get enough nutrition with a jejunostomy. Another surgical option is a bypass around the fistula. The other option is to stop eating and go on IV nutrition to reduce bowel contents.

There are a few reasons that a anal fistula happen. The most common reason is because of an anal abscess.that does not heal properly.
