angiogram

Avatar n tn When l had an angiogram, l ended up with a large blood clot, in the top of my leg, which l later had to have removed, in order to save my life. Can l take any action against the person that did the original angiogram?
Avatar f tn I have just been scheduled for an angiogram and I'm scared to no end I have a 3 year old son I love to death same as my soon to be wife. I'm so scared something will go wrong during the surgery how coming are complications? Also my ej is 73 is this bad?
Avatar n tn Given my other results, should I have gone directly to the more conventional angiogram in spite of the slightly greater risk? If there is a good chance that I will need an angiogram anyway, am I not putting myself at risk by going through another step? Is there a good publication for lay people that I can read that might shed more light on this question?
974371 tn?1424653129 t say we have the best doctors where I live. Anyway, I am afraid an angiogram will be ordered and I really do NOT want one of those done. No way could I get through that and understand they keep you awake? Wondering if there is an alternative and if anyone has had the angiogram done and what your experiences were.
1950425 tn?1452914516 i had a angiogram and they found nothing wrong no blood flow problem and the six to eight months later get a phone call saying i have slow blood flow to the left of the heart?
Avatar n tn Someone else may have a different opinion on this, but personally I don't think that an EKG and Echo scan are always enough to establish a heart problem. I believe that I had the very same thing happen to me three years ago. It was three months after a triple bypass and walking home from my local shops. I was suddenly gasping for air and fell to my knees. It also lasted just a few minutes and I felt much better again.
Avatar m tn The only true test, which is a procedure, is the angiogram. My mom had the nuclear stress test and was told that it was not bad and a few months later she was totally plugged in two main arteries and about 99 percent plugged in the other. Have you had an echocardiogram yet? An echocardiogram can check the heart valves.
