Avatar f tn Hello! I wanna ask if I take 20 mg of Anavar for better workout rutine ,thats the normal dosis.. what are the chances to get an outbreak?
Avatar n tn 38 year-old male. About two years ago I took Anavar (oxandrolone) for two 3-4 day durations. It absolutely wrecked my libido. It has not come back. I've had my testosterone tested and it is normal. My SHBG is on the low side (usually 11-14), but I looked at old records and it has always been that way. I can masturbate to ejaculation, but I find everything much less stimulating. This is not psychological and I don't really want to entertain such theories.

Avatar n tn I took Anavar (Oxandrolone) twice for 3-4 day increments and it destroyed my libido. It has not come back in over a year. My testosterone is normal. My SHBG is a little low, but that's normal for me. It is not psychological or psychosomatic. I barely enjoy sex. This is not normal. Please somebody help. Please.
Avatar m tn I am considering taking very mild anabolic steroids such as anavar and equipoise. stuff that typically is not very harsh on my liver I know i have 1 to 2 viral count loads to do for this year. My plan is to take the gear in moderation take stuff that is not very taxing on my body. and also do my post cycle therapy with nolvadex or clomid two ancillaries that are not as harsh on the body as well. I heard that AAS and other androgenic supplements can enhance viral replication.
Avatar m tn t adequately convert Free T4 to Free T3, so must add a source of T3 to our medication regime. This can be done either with a synthetic T3 (cytomel or generic) added to your synthroid, or it can be done with desiccated hormones, which contain both T3 and T4.
139126 tn?1255036991 I am wondering why the doc is just treating you with T4 meds and no T3. You have no thryoid and 20 percent of T3 conversion is done by the thryoid. Why not add a little Cytomel to your Synthroid?
Avatar m tn Wife is hypothyroid. The T3 and T4 measurements are out of date. For accuracy we need Free T3,Free T4 but no matter what, all TSH's indicate hypothyroidism for all concerned and must be treated appropriately ASAP!
Avatar m tn Typically, T4 medication is decreased by about 20-25 mcg for each 5 mcg T3 added. Excess fatigue isn’t the only symptom that would warrant adding T3 to your regimen. Free T3 is the hormone your individual cells, actually, use, whereas Free T4 is a “storage” hormone and must be converted to T3 prior to use.
Avatar m tn Are you taking any t4 with the t3? If not, why just t3? Your range is really high. Definitely need meds!!
Avatar f tn What type of doctor is this? (Endo., MD, DO. Naturalpathic, Internal, Chiro. etc.) Can your pharmacist consult with you on this? My compounding pharmacist does thyroid consults. He knows more than most doctors in my experience. I can bring my labs to him for review. In the complicated world of thyroid, I like to get all the opinions that I can! Remember, those reference ranges are very broad. Just because you are in "Normal" range does not mean you are optimal.
Avatar f tn However, for unknown reasons, some people convert slowly, and even though their FT4 levels can be very good or even a little on the high side, their FT3 remains low. For those people, adding a little medication with T3 in it can make a world of difference. T3 is marketed in the U.S. as Cytomel, but there are also generics. Another option is desiccated porcine thyroid which contains both T3 and T4 (e.g. Armour thyroid). My experience with BPPV was rotational...
Avatar f tn You have symptoms that are frequently related to hypothyroidism, plus your Free T4 and Free T3 are way too low. Along with that your TSH is toward the low end of its range, so it appears that you have central hypothyroidism. with central hypothyroidism there is a dysfunction in the hypothalamus/pituitary system that results in TSH levels that are too low to adequately stimulate the thyroid gland to produce hormone.
Avatar m tn im a man in his twenties from uk.i had an expereince with another man regrettably(HIV STATUS UNKNOWN).he rimmed me shorty before have anal sex, i was bottom.it was protected howver he put the condom on the wrong way before putting it on correctly, there was probaly sum precum on it.it was only for a few minutes.i got tested three months after maybe a little longer.i got a 1 min rapid test which came back negative and ablood test which came back negative.
Avatar f tn 5 - 12.0) TSH 0.51 (0.2 - 4.2 ) total T3 107 (80 - 200) Reverse T3 was done with results pending....Should my Free T3 be higher? Free T4 lower? Help please. Tired of not feeling well.
Avatar f tn Please double check the RR for Free T3. I cannot find a RR that is anything near that number, with measurement units of pg/dl. Did you get that right from a lab report?
Avatar m tn could this mean I have no problem converting t4 to t3 and that i may be better off with a higher dose synthetic t4. I was on synthetic for a while and i thought i was losing my mind. the armour at least releived some of the mental aspects of hypo. i welcome any suggestions you may have. im pretty new at this.
Avatar m tn So, as I see it, your Free T3 needs to be increased with T3 med. About 10 mcg split into two daily doses would be a good start. Along with that I would reduce the Naturethroid by about 1/2 grain. Then wait 4 weeks and go back for tests of Free T4, Free T3 and Reverse T3. All of this needs to be discussed with your doctor of course.
Avatar f tn Free T3 is the most revealing because scientific studies have shown that Free T3 correlated best with hypo symptoms, while Free T3 and Free T4 did not correlate at all. The other tests for Free Thyroxine Index and T3 uptake are way outdated and not worth the effort. Since Hashimoto's Thyroiditis is the most common cause for diagnosed hypothyroidism, you should also test for the thyroid antibodies indicative of Hashi's.
Avatar n tn I say this because symptomatic change is mainly related to Free T3, and less with Free T4, and negligibly with TSH. If you need to convince your doctor of this, use this link and scroll down to Fig 1C and click on it and you will note the effect of different levels of Free T3 on the incidence of symptoms. https://www.hindawi.
Avatar f tn While you are at it, I would also suggest that you be tested for Reverse T3 as well. Reverse T3 is the mirror image molecule of T3. Under some conditions the body will convert T4 to excessive amounts of Reverse T3, which counteracts the effects of Free T3 and produces hypothyroidism. This does not happen very often, but with your symptoms and your prior test results, I would have it checked out.
Avatar f tn Then I would say that your last Free T3 result was distorted by you taking your med before the blood draw for tests. Any thyroid med with T3 should be split into two doses and one taken in the morning and the other in the early afternoon. The reason being that T3 affects the serum levels of Free T3 so fast that it reaches peak effect in about 3-4 hours and then gradually dissipates over the same time frame.
Avatar m tn 8 last year, and I think that is a concern alone, plus the free t3 and free t4, with all the symptoms. I really am frustrated with him insisting I'm normal, when I think my free t3 is low from what I'm seeing from others. TSH - 1.32 (.45 - 4.5) free t3 - 2.9 (2.0 - 4.8) free t4 - 1.4 (.8 - 1.7) I'm feeling like I need an increase in my Synthroid (100 mcg) or addition of T3. He doesn't agree.
