Amphetamine manufacture

Common Questions and Answers about Amphetamine manufacture

Avatar f tn Dear Rickyglee5555: 80 mg of Adderall is a very high dose. Which formulation did you take, immediate-release or extended release (XR)? Is this just a one time dose? Per manufacture label, the half-life can range from "9.77 to 11 hours vs. 11.5 to 13.8 hours", depending on the isomers, the weight and age of the patients. For your question regarding the drug test, I do not know the answer and cannot accurate answer it.
Avatar n tn From what I understand from the literature I have been reading, there is a note about the product containing ephedrine alkaloids, and I would assume other ingredients as well. Might I suggest you try to link with the website at Perhaps you can get information from someone higher up with more detailed information. Good luck.
Avatar f tn Ephedrine is the central ingredient in the manufacture of modern bath tub methamphetamine. If you were to take 60mgs of ephedrine and convert it to meth, it would get you very high. The way you are taking it builds tolerance, as you found out, and the same addiction issues as a meth addict. Detox of amphetamines definitely causes depression, but depression alone doesn't cause eating disorders on it's own. Like mentioned above, you self-image was suffering before the ephedrine.
Avatar m tn When we consume phenylalanine in food, it gets converted in dopamine (neurotransmitter supposedly responsible for attention span, decision-making, etc.) and phenylethylamine (the body's natural, amphetamine). It also has a role in the production of norephinephrine (also linked to attention and motivation). It is considered an essential (can only be gotten through food) amino acid in children but not adults. Why? Because children's bodies cannot manufacture it from other amino acids. Adults can.
Avatar n tn Hello and welcome! I'm glad you've found this forum to be inspirational -- me, too! The withdrawal symptoms you descibe are typical. This is day 41 for me after cold-turkeying myself from Vicodin. I was taking up to 22 tabs/day for 3 years. I know all too well the sheer misery of withdrawal symptoms and post-acute withdrawal.
Avatar n tn I do not know if all the over-the-counter forms of ephedrine show up as an amphetamine or if it stays in the system a long time. We need Mr.Michael.
Avatar n tn I have had surgeries in the past (oral, spinal, c-section) so of course I had pain pills- and although I really enjoy them, once the prescription is done, its over. Please everyone, I know you may take what I've said as some kind of "oh Im not an addict like them" statement- but thats far from the truth. It doesn't matter what "kind" of addict I am, just that I am one.
Avatar n tn SSRI's had an important, life saving role in treating my depression, but these are extremely powerful drugs that are not well understood by those who manufacture, market and prescribe them. The real clinical trial begins when the FDA approves the drug and we are the study group. There are competent, caring professionals in practice you don't have to accept paternalistic, cavalier of lazy behavior from your health care partner. Make informed choices.
Avatar n tn In their TV ads for Wellbutrin the manufacture now mentions seisures as one of the main side effects. I did lose some weight and at 55 my libido went through the roof. Thoses side effects were great :-) But the seisures caused me untold grief with the Motor Vehicle Department. I believe the higher the dose the more likely the seisure and as far as I know nothing such as too much coffee contributes. It's the drug and your particular body chemistry.
Avatar n tn As I mentioned in my post, I have a plethora of experience on both sides (addict and treatment, although my days working in the rehab facility, I was using all the time) and with alcohol, many opiates and amphetamine class drugs, 48 hrs. is the magic number for acute WD symptoms. With tramadol, when I awoke the thrird day and it was still going strong, I panicked, which is why this forum is so valuable.
