A friend had unprotected sex with a lady he had known for quite a while now, many days later he started discharge and experiencing acute penile itchiness. He took some Amoxil that was prescribed to him for a previous sinus infection, and the itchiness reduced drastically, the discharge stopped too. He thinks it's penile yeast infection, but I told him Amoxil makes yeast infection worse so it couldn't possibly be. He is too shy to go see a doctor. Can Amoxil cure yeast infection?
t been feeling that great and the doc prescribed Prevacid at 30mg twice a day along with 1g of Amoxil and Biaxin. My H. Pylori test came back negative so I could stop the Amoxil and Biaxin. It might take a while but he tells me it will work.
On the other hand, a friend of mine had severe reflux and the doc prescribed Protonix. It worked so well that they were able to get off of it and only use it when they feel a flare up coming on (every couple months).
Hi, about a year ago I had a filling in my upper right molar that broke and was re-drilled and replaced with a large filling. It's the tooth that's 2nd from the back not including the wisdom tooth which i had removed 5 years ago.
So, a year ago when I had it re-filled it was rather "sore" for a couple months, and I experienced and on and off low grade fever for many months as well.
yes while waiting, i called a doctor and pharmacist about it; they said amoxil does not vary when it comes to weight and that there is no resistance to it meaning my chances of contracting endocarditis are practically nonexistent on them, it's mostly fear; I mean I just bled from my mouth earlier cause I cut myself with dental floss and was panicking about bacteria even though i bled many times before.
The blood test was positive and now I am under triple regimen ..(clarithromycin, amoxil, omeprazole) and am asked to take them for two weeks and after that go for another H pylori test which will most probably be negative.
My bleeding has stopped since then (took lots of liquids so the stool is softer).
My question is ... is just a blood test enough for H pylor or should i go for endoscopy or CT scan.
By Friday she would not eat anything and screamed if we tried to use the mouth wash on a cotton swab. We took her to the doctor that day. They were not sure and put her on Amoxil. It is now Sunday she is still screaming when we go near her tooth/gums and is bleeding at the touch of the cotton swab
Her mother and I are worried and do not know what to do next. She has a follow up with the dentist on Wednesday this week. What should we do? Should the Amoxil be working if it is an infection?
Within a 2 hours of eating I would have diarrhea and feel hungry again along with the weak knees. Figuring it to be exhaustion I put up with it for a week. When the symptoms persisted I called the doc. His review was a peptic ulcer and prescribed 30mg of Prevacid along with 1g of Amoxil and Biaxin (not sure of amount). Since then, I have nausea in the morning upon waking even after eating and taking the pills. In the afternoon I start to cough and get a taste of mucus or bile.
It appears to be a small internal stye on my lower eyelid. My eye doc gave me amoxil by mouth and tobramycin drops. It immediately responded and was doing much better until about day 8. I went back to the eye doc and he gave me a z-pak to take orally and changed they eye drops to zymaxid. I am on day 3 of that now and am worried it isnt responding like it should. I still have some pain (which as lessened), but I have had a big bag of fluid under my eyelid.
We took her to the dentist who would not touch her mouth until she did a round of amoxil for 10 days. we are on the 3rd day, and the pain has increased and the swelling of the left side of her face is deforming. swelling is now going under her jaw and into the neck. Is the antibotics not working? Would it be of benifit to bring her to the Er? She is in massive pain and can eat nothing. She can barely open her mouth. These two back teeth the dentist has worked on before.
Week later I started to have hoarse voice, swollen glands in my neck, pressure in the neck, chills and night sweats. Diocoir listened to my lungs and heard wheezing on exhale, so he gave me Biaxin, which I couldn't take, because I am alergic to it. So he changed it to Amoxil 250. I finished the antibiotics and I feel worst, now I have trouble breathing in as well, it take three breaths to clear the lungs. My doctor is on vacation, my question is could this be Hantavirus?
I have had thyroditis about 20 years ago and was left with small nodule. My last ultrasound reads: "Both thyroid lobes are small measuring up to 3.5 cm in lenght. Parechyma within the mid gland on the right is focally heterogenous, but a discrete nodule is difficult to identify" . My doctor doesn't seem to be concerned. Lately I have hoarse voice, sometimes trouble swallowing food, swollen uvula and pressure in the neck, also swollen glands in the neck.
Every time I swallow it hurts. Two weeks ago, I had strep throat and the dr. prescribed Amoxil twice a day and I felt much better. This feels nothing like the strep throat I had before, and it's constant. Can you give me an idea as to what it might be and which type of doctor I should make an appointment with if necessary? I went to the doctor and tested negative for strep. She prescribed me Amoxil 875 once per day. By the next day, my tonsils were fine, but the headache remains. I recently changed jobs and some coworkers have been ill, however the internet has me worried that I have HIV. Two questions:
1) Is this a "high risk" case for HIV?
2) What other STDs do my symptoms fall in line with?
I plan to be tested next week, but I want to know what I could be looking at.

After some time, i went to the doctor and he did a stomach examination. didnt find anything unusual. he also gave me Amoxil, and from Amoxil the fishy odor stopped and it only smelled bad like butt. So because it continued i went to the doctor last month and had a colon examination. He didnt find anything unusual.
Then i started searching again for treatment. I found about garlic. I tried for 4 days to eat ALOT OF GARLIC, because as people said brings a balance on the digestive system.
t help being pregnant I can only take 5mg and got 12pills. I use ice almost hourly but its still achy and throbbing down into my neck. I suggest eat a soft diet,your dentist should of told you that. I've also used an ointment called red cross toothache,its a few min of relief. I'm so annoyed being in pain this long,I truly hope you don't experience my symptoms, I'm due in four days for a c-section and dread more pain.
