I've been on antibiotics almost staright for 3 and1/2 years. As soon as I'm off antibiotics for 2 weeks a bladder infection comes right back! I've suffered on and off for the last 10 years. 19 years ago I had kidney stones when I was pregnant. I've had scopes done and ct scans and everything shows normal. I had a cyst removed from my left ovarian 7 years ago and I had endometriosis removed off of the outside of my bladder 6 months ago!
Past couple days I've been having what felt like menstrual cramps. Today I found that I had a tampon in from over a week ago. I forgot about it. Now I feel like I have a bladder infection. Hurts to pee, frequent urination, and there's blood in it. I took 2 amoxicillin 500 mg capsules. But I'm really in pain. Should I go to ER, or wait till morning and see how I feel?

You do not have to have all of the symptoms for a kidney infection. The worse the infection the worse the symptoms ie vomiting, dehydration. There are also a lot of home remedies you could try. I take 1 tbs of apple cider vinegar and 1 tbs of honey in about 8 ounces of warm water. I drink one in the morning and one at night. It is nasty but it works well for me.
About a month ago I cracked a tooth. A week or so after the crack is swelled up pretty bad. I went to urgent care and the doctor games me 500mg of penicillin 4 times a day. The penicillin knocked out the swelling in a couple days and everything pretty much went back to normal. Last night the area swelled up again and even my law line started swelling. I could feel a large bump in my gum line which I'm guessing was the infection.
First I had a uti that turned into a kidney infection that turned into a bladder infection now a yeast infection!!
Which I am sceptical because when I took Amoxicillin it was 1 a day pill for a week and as soon as i took it the bacteria was going away. Now I've taken Clindamycin like 5 times, because it's 1 pill ever 6 hours. There is 28 pills in total. But I don't see the bacteria fading, like the Amoxicillin.
Apparently they're very common throughout pregnancy, I have a bladder infection at the moment and been prescribed a course of amoxicillin.
chances are the infection never really went away, if it was gonorreah or syphilis it probably relapsed...
ve had a sore throat since the 19 of dec, and i went to my doctor a week ago and she had diagnosed me with a throat infection, she prescribed me to 500mg Amoxicillin 3x per day and my course finished this Monday, and i'm still getting really bad throat pains and am recently getting very sharp upper chest pain when i breath in, any help?

So yesterday I went to the Dr for an ear infection and the Dr said it was pretty bad. He prescribed me amoxicillin 500mg 3 times a day for 10 days. He said it was safe but I am scared. I have called and left a message for my drs assistant. Waiting for a call back. Have any of you had to take this in this dossage?
You can check with a pharmacist about the amoxicillin. Secondly, you can ask your physician for samples if possible or ask if she or he can enroll you in a free medication program so that you are able to get the medication to take.

will amoxicillin harm my baby? I've got a water infection and the doctor prescribed me them. Also, if I take them does it cause thrush? I'm curious.
With reference to self medicating, I was taking amoxicillin for a sinus infection. I had a low risk exposure (protected sex) with a massage therapist the week prior to getting the sinus infection. I experienced the irritation on my penis with some mild low back pain about 2 days prior to the infection (about 7 days after the massage girl).
The back pain went away a day after taking the Amoxicillin (which would have been 3 grams). The irritation still exist, but less so.
AND I drink mine with 1 milk 1 sugar, and need to stray away from sugar... Had a bad bladder infection on the weekend, and the Amoxicillin gave me a yeast infection. lol.
m afraid to see another ENT doctor only to have them insist I see them once a month and never want to treat the infection.
Should I see an ENT doctor and insist they prescribe amoxicillin until the infection is gone? Without an ear drum wouldn't I be highly susceptible to another chronic ear infection?
I have had a sinus infection for 9 months and on my third antibiotic treatment as well as a root canal. I am 6 days into my 875 mg amoxicillin treatment and am extremely tired and have serious pain in my knees and ankles. I don't know if these symptoms are due to the antibiotics or the infection and I'm worried.
I am taking 1 tablet of Amoxicillin (500mg) every 12 hours starting today (but intend to continue for 7 days).

about possible bladder infection...He treated me for UTI without looking. Z pack.... 0.5 first day, and .25 for following 4 days. after first dose issues seem to be going away slowly. I noticed after urinating a small round thing that was soft but solid that was on the urethra in some urine. Could this be a kidney stone that didnt cause pain???? Or a pece of stictch that entered the urethra? Ive had a history of stones. IF NGU...
I had gay sex the other night for the first and only time. Total, it lasted less than two minutes before we realized the condom broke (probably at the latter half of the 2 minutes). I am currently on amoxicillin, is there a real worry I could have possibly received an STI? I think I'm being paranoid but I just need to know something from a different perspective.
